**** me you talk utter shyte

When you say you have been looking in to this, do you actually mean that you have read a couple of random tweets about a death in the family and one random article on barca interest? Oh sorry and you read on a forum somewhere that apparently getting match fit will take 6 weeks. Well based on that hard hitting evidence you may just be onto something!!
-
yes clearly i meant would not dream of getting involved in identifying technical staff. Although my team understand the type of employee I want working in my company. From a specific skill set requirement i leave that completely down to the manager of the team.
-
It think you over estimate Cortese's role in identifying football targets. He was a banker / finance guy and would be responsible for overall strategy / leadership of the business. Not a chance he got involved in specifics around scouting etc. I run a business and we employ a whole team of technical IT staff. Whilst i absolutely have driven the companies growth and success I would dream of getting involved in identifying staff outside of my sphere of knowledge.

You really dont know the answer to that one, seriously? We match their transfer budgets, wages and through that demonstrate we can match their ambition. Wont ever happen unless someone (a billionaire) opens their wallet and spends massive money. No other way so just accept where we are in the food chain.

which CB are ready and can be signed?
-
Don't let the fact Stephens isnt good enough get in the way. Just my opinion though.
-
however you dont mind talking sh1t most of the time.

For what its worth I thought Jay Rods first half performance was as bad as any I have ever seen. well worst since Ali Dia (and thats saying something). Jack Stevens isnt strong enough and doesnt read the game well enough to be considered a premier league Centre back. Yoshida will always struggle without a top drawer defender alongside him. Gabbiadini looks exactly what we are missing up front. A good finisher, strong enough to hold the ball up, mobile / decent pace and makes really good runs. We will have enough to grind out the wins to stay up but we are in a fight for sure.

I agree the people on sunday will be people that have ST with young children or ST that live long distances from St marys and cant physically get to evening games. based on the low numbers that covers it seems pointless penalising them particularly when they have multiple aways as well. hey ho at least we get tickets though
-
so why then doesnt arsenal away count which incedently we both went to? like i said thats shyte
-
ME too. I qualify for today but my son doesn't as evening games are too late bearing in mind he lives in London with his mum. Gobsmacked that they changed the usual criteria from ST plus aways to ST with home games (in the EFL). Essentially he has a ST and went to Milan, Westham, Leicester and Burnley this year. If I had known that that we would randomly change the criteria i would have bought a ticke for the home games anyway. IMO the ticket office is run by a complete ****wit. In a

Didnt killer get injured and then wasnt adequetly replaced? Think we will have enough to stay up but we are one injury for yoshida away from being in a lot of trouble. A gardos stephens pairing fills me full of dread personally.
-
ive always laughed at westhams scattergun tranfer policy but loooking at our window i ask myself the question.... would fonte & snodgrass for £18m have improved our team more than Gabbiadini for £17m? Away win for me. One decent game for stephens against a misfiring liverpool doesnt negate the need for serious reinforcements at CB. A bad game against westham and comfidence will drop and we are bang in trouble. Maybe Virgil will be back in 2 weeks (i ****ing hope so) but i have to say i wouldnt be suprised if we are praying for his return in April.

Transfer Deadline Day Jan 2017 Edition
wild-saint replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
its nailed on that yoshida will pick up a injury in the enxt couple of weeks. -
Unlikely. This is typical Italian negotiating tactics. I think this will be drawn out to the last to extract as much cash as possible from saints. Also the reason why we havent landed him earlier in the window. If we had offered the full amount a week ago they would have fannied about before demanding extra to get it through at the last minute. I would be amazed if this doesnt happen. its just a question of the fee.

i cant quite believe i just read that.

Saints Reserves v Arsenal Reserves - FA Cup Match Thread

just to add a little more ammo to the thought we could be throwing the fa cup to clear the weekend before the cup final. Les Reeds daughter is getting married on FA cup final day so he wouldnt have been able to go to the game if we got there. 100% ITK. -
Anyone who wants a ticket will get one. You may just have to pay more than the prices on the saintswebsite. Money makes the world go round unfortunately
-
**** me he has to be kicking himself now ha ha
-
So technically he hasn't lied. We received a decent fee, it wasn't on the last day of the transfer window and we are in a position to replace him. The question is will we?
-
Madness, We wont give a 33 year old a 2.5 year deal but we will give a 35 year old an 18 month contract?
-
so you never go to games, regularly bet against saints, constantly post negative posts and try to wind other saints fans up. And you wonder why people think your a troll and dont support saints?
