  1. Top 10 finish Decent attacking football Anything other than a bottom 6 finish To win a trophy Provide entertainment for my season ticket money To be bothered to watch All of the above. Your call which but for me the squad isn’t good enough.
  2. Where did I say that? So you think the squad is good enough right now do you? I think a couple of sensible additions in those wide areas will significantly improve performances.
  3. Would I fire him? Absolutely! Will saints fire him? Absolutely not! As that is the case I hope we spend some cash in January to fix the areas that are limiting our attacking threat, tadic & Redmond Will that happen ? Probably not. So relegation battle here we come.
  4. yeah it was a great goal
  5. New owner yet to show his hand as to his leadership plans. Never say never, However unlikely.
  6. Why not keep VVD and also invest in some decent attacking players?
  7. I agree with much of this but the absolute nail is that the chuckle brothers Tadic and Redmond are a truely aweful. I’d have them out of the squad and probably wouldn’t even let them go collect the cones after training. Hell, Redmond would turn back before he got to them. Redmond has had 10games on the spin and done **** all. I’d have boufal in at the number 10 role centrally with a licence to try things without fear of losing his place if he loses the ball. Give him 10games to gain confidence and find his feet. Maybe we need to play 3 at the back to allow the full backs more of a licence and space to get forward without the chuckle brothers slowing down their attacking threat.
  8. And playing one up front for so long when we haven't scored more than about 5 goals in the last God knows how many games. It's Ines usable in my opinion. If we dont set up to get more players in the box particularly at home and saints will be in for one hell of a relegation battle this season. I actually think we are likely to get more wins away from home.its ****ing horrible to watch

    Redmond

When Redmond has the ball he always look to go inside / to the right of the fullback rather than the outside nearly every time. When teams double up he has no alternative but to play backwards if he is not prepared to go outside and therefore is very predictable. Unless he varies his play he will not improve his worth to the team. Its painful to watch. The other option is to play much more centrally as he then tends to be able to play either side as he has more space.
  10. Actually I think he will play 3 CBs next week.

    Redmond

Even though we did last year and currently are this year?

    Lemina!

Wasn't it the song the Watford fans were singing all game last week but obviously their players name inserted?
  13. Without watching the game its difficult to judge but look at his positioning and the compelte lack of effort to defend those specific situations, (regardless of being out for 8/9 months) it very much looked like he couldn't be arsed. I don't care how rusty he is at the least he should be busting a gut. I have a feeling this well end messily in January with a sales a lower price than we could have achieved in August.
  14. You think the team have a chance with your mrs then?
  15. He will do nothing else but give it 100%. If clubs see him playing badly they may feel it's because of his injury and then effect whether they are still interested in him.
  16. I personally think he is our best player in every position, so yes he could play up front.
  17. i watched the game as well and tend to agree. Although the French have an abundance of top quality attacking players. He seemed to struggle for pace a little but i guess we knew that.
  18. Of course, plenty in here. Couple of Glaswegian, Austrian and Marvel variety
  19. Thats acutally the most sensible post you have ever made and quite funny
  20. Now that post is truer than any I have ever read. Batman give it up your are as tiresome as the transfer window itself.
  21. I'd have him washing the other players cars on match day afternoons. Then charge fans £10 to chuck rotten fruit at him. That should make up for any loss of value next season when we sell him.
  22. The latest on twitter is that LFC are waiting for any bid being accepted from another club before they then gazump it. Apparently saintsfc would be legally obliged to accept that as well. The stupid dipper quoted a similar case for Henize raising a legal case around a bid not being accepted that was higher from another club. It doesnt seem to deter him from his argument that he lost the case. Apparently it would be international news and a PR disaster if VVd went down this route so we would accept. Straw clutchingly bad argument but funny.
  23. Although we controlled the game more after he came on. Wouldn't have taken of gabby though maybe tadic for Jwp and then rather McQueen
  24. The standard of trolling from the usual *****tards is impeccable as usual. Well done
  25. k well yes i guess so. Clearly he is being told what he can put on the forum to get a direct feed to saints fans. It wouldn't take too much of an effort by the club to find out who is leaking this level of information assuming its accurate and its not authorised. I have a friend who works at the club and has access to high level information but they never tell us anything (well almost nothing).
