  1. Gutless we maybe but at least we actually pay our money and turn up rather than perpetually gripe on forum looking for cheap bites. You are one sad mother ****er
  2. Looked much more useful 2nd half when sims played in alongside him. Far to isolated to just get prior to that.
  3. Of course they get it. Anyone on here that thinks they don’t are just plain stupid. The question is are they really bothered. Most know they will be out of here quicker than speeding bullet if the worst happens. New club, Shiney new contract and a signing on bonus. They will give it a go but ultimately for most it’s not the end of the world.
  4. Is it 1 defeat in 6 since he has started. Decent Runa of form
  5. Following saints for too many years to remember. The best games have always been the cup finals / semi finals. Would happily take an FA cup win and relegation. We would probably come back (hopefully in my lifetime) and I have seen enough garbage prem games to fill a lifetime. I want to see a Saints captain to lift a meaningful cup and then get battered after celebrating.
  6. I don’t think it would be any different. Gabbiadini doesn’t suit 1 up top. Unless we change our formation he is best on the bench in my opinion. Nice to see sims come on and offer / show us some direct pace and not afraid to take on his man. Unlike redmond
  7. although I actually think our chances are better because we have away games against dross. Setting up a side at home as if we are playing away is the reason for our poor form at home. A passionate away following plus playing crap teams who will feel the need to take more risks at home will help. Maybe it will be enough.maybe
  8. 2 x season tickets that I have had for god know how many years. Can’t face watching this team for another season. Although what will actually happen is I’ll buy them anyway and end up missing maybe 10 home games when I can’t be arsed to drive down from north Hampshire. I don’t think I’ve seen such a rudderless ship from the top down.
  9. i have been watching football since I was kid and hated rugby. My son started playing aged 7 and have watched him every Sunday for 8 years. Initially bemused by what was going on but once I understood the rules it changed it completely for me, Now absolutely love watching it almost as much as footy.
  10. They can earn sponsorship from companies (eg betting sites etc). A decent WiFI solution can control where users are pointed when they access the internet.
  11. Would the striker then be deemed to be interfering with play / being active and would be flagged regardless of not touching the ball?
  12. not strictly true about who kicks goals. Yes the kicker is predetermined for sure but its not a clear cut decision as to whether the kick is for touch or at the posts. Ultimately the captain makes the call and im sure other players would have their input. With regards wonderful gents or despicable ****s then i agree its clearly debatable as there are plenty of "dark arts" things going on throughout the game that are against the rules. one thing i personally think football could learn from rugby and help improve the game is the expectation within the junior game for both parents / an players alike to respect the officials and other players. I take that from my own experiences of kids playing both rugby and football. Also any decent rugby ref at junior level will penalize a team for questioning a decision by moving a play back 10 mtrs. Harsh maybe but it stops abuse of refs.
  13. I absolutely agree about Davis but Lemina hasn’t been great since his injury. Has talent though, let’s hope he carry’s it on.
  14. The sad thing is the starting 11 looks ok but there just seems to be no direction. Everything is so slow and ponderous. The only time we looked remotely dangerous is when we move it forward quickly and don’t allow wba to set there’re men behind the ball. Never seen a bunch reasonably talented players look so flat.
  15. Co(k
  16. This guy wont go until he has paid the 200 million debt against the club from assets being sold and he has a club that can be sold. Even if we go down he can cover most of the 200 million from the vvd money, parachute payments and selling other players. He is left with a club that he hasn’t paid for and whatever he sells it for is profit (bar interest on the 200). It’s not rocket science really just business.
  17. Or in his opinion we should stick with MP. Just because he doesn’t agree with the majority doesn’t mean he is towing the party line. Each to their own.

    Sturridge

Saints have new striker that could turn out to be just what we need and also have one if the best finishers coming back from injury in February in Charlie Austin. We will be fine.
  19. Well it’s fair to say we won’t be on the tv
  20. I didn’t laugh as I read bride as bridge.
  21. people have been calling for 3 at the back all season and when he makes that change in the second half he forgets criticised. Strange bunch you folk. Seemed to me that he reacted to the aerial assault that was expected late on and we coped well. Had we done that away we might have had 3 points. Decent enough performance, great result, next round, Job done. Still lack some pace so here’s hoping for Promes. Well done saints, well done MP.
  22. I agree with this to a degree. Although we looked less of an attacking threat as the game went on.

    Sturridge

Would miss 70% of games but still end up our top scorer though
  24. Surely bompy can’t be paying Defoe 130k pw?
