  1. European footballer of the year - Kevin Keegan. Awesome player
  2. Sorry I meant to type 25.
  3. dont we both have a registered squad of 15 players to choose from? Although I agree with the sentiment that they have nothing to play for. Equally if we lose to Westham you could argue neither will we.
  4. Getting fed up of this were doomed, it’s too late Shyte. We are 1point ahead with a better goal difference than most around us. The bottom 3 need to get 2 more points out of their remaining 9 games than we do. They are in the bottom 3 because they aren’t winning games either. Tough call for any of them IMO. Add to the fact we should start performing better with a new manager and I am less worried than most it seems
  5. We generally find you daft but still have to read what you put on here.
  6. Why not? Does he not tip much or is t very chatty when he is in the chair?
  7. You really don’t get why we would offer a short term deal? How about, he is not our ideal candidate if we stay up? Stay up and we then have far greater choice and if we go down. Not really rocket science.
  8. to be honest most on here would have taken john Hughes over MoPo whoever he is lol
  9. He has gone
  10. I would actually take Any manager That was currently available as long as he /she the gave the answer ... “2 including Gabbiadini” when asked how many players he would play up front in the next league game. Literally anyone.
  11. Pied piper? No, just an irritating nob
  12. Not true, once he had sims around him at the start of the 2nd (then Gabbi) he started to look more useful. The key is having a 2nd striker in and around him. Don’t get me wrong he ain’t brilliant but can do a job. If Pellegrino can just learn from the last 25 mins and play that shape from the start against the alsorans and leave the 1 up front for the top 6 teams we will be ok I think. Just don’t think he will.
  13. Gutless we maybe but at least we actually pay our money and turn up rather than perpetually gripe on forum looking for cheap bites. You are one sad mother ****er
  14. Looked much more useful 2nd half when sims played in alongside him. Far to isolated to just get prior to that.
  15. Of course they get it. Anyone on here that thinks they don’t are just plain stupid. The question is are they really bothered. Most know they will be out of here quicker than speeding bullet if the worst happens. New club, Shiney new contract and a signing on bonus. They will give it a go but ultimately for most it’s not the end of the world.
  16. Is it 1 defeat in 6 since he has started. Decent Runa of form
  17. Following saints for too many years to remember. The best games have always been the cup finals / semi finals. Would happily take an FA cup win and relegation. We would probably come back (hopefully in my lifetime) and I have seen enough garbage prem games to fill a lifetime. I want to see a Saints captain to lift a meaningful cup and then get battered after celebrating.
  18. I don’t think it would be any different. Gabbiadini doesn’t suit 1 up top. Unless we change our formation he is best on the bench in my opinion. Nice to see sims come on and offer / show us some direct pace and not afraid to take on his man. Unlike redmond
  19. although I actually think our chances are better because we have away games against dross. Setting up a side at home as if we are playing away is the reason for our poor form at home. A passionate away following plus playing crap teams who will feel the need to take more risks at home will help. Maybe it will be enough.maybe
  20. 2 x season tickets that I have had for god know how many years. Can’t face watching this team for another season. Although what will actually happen is I’ll buy them anyway and end up missing maybe 10 home games when I can’t be arsed to drive down from north Hampshire. I don’t think I’ve seen such a rudderless ship from the top down.
  21. i have been watching football since I was kid and hated rugby. My son started playing aged 7 and have watched him every Sunday for 8 years. Initially bemused by what was going on but once I understood the rules it changed it completely for me, Now absolutely love watching it almost as much as footy.
  22. They can earn sponsorship from companies (eg betting sites etc). A decent WiFI solution can control where users are pointed when they access the internet.
  23. Would the striker then be deemed to be interfering with play / being active and would be flagged regardless of not touching the ball?
  24. not strictly true about who kicks goals. Yes the kicker is predetermined for sure but its not a clear cut decision as to whether the kick is for touch or at the posts. Ultimately the captain makes the call and im sure other players would have their input. With regards wonderful gents or despicable ****s then i agree its clearly debatable as there are plenty of "dark arts" things going on throughout the game that are against the rules. one thing i personally think football could learn from rugby and help improve the game is the expectation within the junior game for both parents / an players alike to respect the officials and other players. I take that from my own experiences of kids playing both rugby and football. Also any decent rugby ref at junior level will penalize a team for questioning a decision by moving a play back 10 mtrs. Harsh maybe but it stops abuse of refs.
  25. I absolutely agree about Davis but Lemina hasn’t been great since his injury. Has talent though, let’s hope he carry’s it on.
