  1. Fair comments. He just needs to keep his trap shut and make his choice. What i can't understand is him getting wound up by a few fans on twitter but then he is a bit of a hothead. I don't begrudge any of the players sitting & taking the money if we were stupid enough to give them a contract. Hopefully the new team in place aren't as stupid as dear old Les. He got caught up in the success of previous transfers and thought he was better than he was. Charlie is stuck between 12 months of a high wage and no football followed a much lower contract / standard of footty or maybe getting a 3 year contract somewhere in the middle. Tough choice, i guess its down to how much of the cash he has earnt over his career he has spunked up the wall and how much he loves money.

    Che Adams

I sure I read an interview recently where he said himself it was pronounced Shay not Chay
  3. I would imagine RH has watched a video of every game boufal played last season allowing to make a judgement in whther he felt he would be the right type of player for his vision. Looks like he doesn’t despite his talent.
  4. They may ask for £40 mil but No one would be stupid enough to pay that other than maybe West Ham.
  5. maybe gabbiadini, although it was january it was clearly part of the plan to reduce the squad size and wages spend.
  6. Ok I’ll bite, what rumours are floating about as I’ve not heard any?
  7. I think VAR will be over used because referees will start to not make match changing decisions knowing that VAR will correct it. Eg not giving pens/ handballs etc. we look forward to a season of waiting around whilst sky (I mean var ref) decide what happens next.
  8. 100% agree with this, i think the player is either brilliant, disinterested or a down right liability. Unfortunately too many of the latter and too few of the brilliant performances. RH clearly doesn't fancy getting the required consistency out of him and for that reason let him go. Good luck to Untied with that but after maybe a few early decent performances no doubt we will see the true Lemina emerge.
  9. Im not sure many on here would compare a freshly signed Mane to the liverpool Mane when he first started. Whilst he looked quick he didnt look like a natural goal scored but over his time with Saints he developed and that is like Mane i will refrain for critisiing this player in his first year with saints.
  10. RH clearly doesn’t agree with you, do you think he would let him go if he felt he was capable of turning him around? Think I’d rather trust his judgement than yours.
  11. and this post sums up Lemina in a nut shell for me and the reason why i would sell.
  12. The player is flawed, all about himself and not the team, happy to take risks in poor areas ultimately giving the ball away in dangerous areas. Flatters to deceive going forward and doesn’t really add goals from midfield. Plus side he does look good when he takes on players and gets passed his man. Easy sell for me particularly if we spend the money well.
  13. Im not sure I agree, yes he is our most talented player but if he had the temperament to be able to deliver consistently on that talent he would be playing at a higher level already IMO. Too much of a show pony trying to take on players and risk losing the ball in dangerous positions. All about him and not the team is my view. Agree that further forward he would be far more useful but im not sure that he has the characteristic that RH likes in those positions (ie pace). Personally I would consider selling if we could get the right money and look for a better option in romeos position. All about opinions i guess.
  14. Just read some great posts on the Villa Forums. Targett has been described as having a wand of a left foot. Personally I think Matty was a solid if unspectacular left back. I would describe as having a left foot not a wand of a left foot.
  15. What about a 4-2-2-2 Gunn Valery new CB Benerek Berty PEH Romeu Redmond Djenepo Ings Adams looks decent to me. With 2 quick players that like to run at defences we will at least be exciting to watch next season
  16. Agree with this completely. Bert is a much better player than targett IMO. A lack pace is the missing ingredient.
  17. In your opinion that fine. In mine he is a bit of a (nut and is uncalled for.
  18. Great effort to write all that. Just can’t help wondering if anyone got beyond the first paragraph !)
  19. Clearly agent chatter trying to find him a new club. No interest from us I would imagine.
  20. fire sale? not sure who / how much we would get once you factor in replacements and agents fees for buying / selling so pretty pointless to be honest.
  21. Who cares as long as they pay the invoice when our FD pops it across to them. As long as it isn’t ISIS who some Colombian drug cartel (or similar unsavoury criminal business) I frankly don’t give a Shyte.
  22. really harsh IMO. Poor service and up front On his own dropping deep to get the ball is part of the problem. In a decent team he will shine but needs a second striker to play off. I’m happy to keep him but obvs injury record is a risk.
  23. Not everyone. I can categorically tell you I would not have acted in that manner. Just signed a 6 year contract, sat on my arse taking circa 60k a week whilst injured, I would have stayed for another year without a seconds thought. It’s called integrity which you clearly have none. Please don’t whinny about 1 chance and could get injured cobblers. The man was made for life with a 6 year contract. So please speak for yourself before you judge everyone else with you own standards in life.
  24. TM walks away with a no deal brexit for the quad?
