why isnt a 3 year comtract viable? its a question of comfirming available budget over the next 3 years for both wages and transfer funds. Add to that an agreement on how player requests to leave are handled and you have the basis of a strategy. if he thinks that shows enough ambition he will sign if not he wont. im not sure he will commit to even a rolling contract unless this financial strategy allows him to compete at a level he is happy with. He understands players will go but its how / when and how much cash he has to replace / build. we could sit there ans say we arent selling anyone but if Mane throws his fire engine out of the cot the he will go

He is a keeper for me. I have to say I prefer having long as the loan striker but am happy to have Pelle as an alternative / sub. Interestingly I was really excited about Charlie Austin joining saints but struggle to see where he fits in at the moment. Not sure Pelle and Austin up front works. I was hoping to see a few games with him up front before next season starts to see whether I felt we could afford to see Pelle leave. Think it would be a bit of a risk now particularly if we didn't replace with someone with equal standing.

why put your name to this utter shyte. we were away at the team who will win the league. we played very well and had a at least 3 key decisions go against us. we dominated for large chunk of the game and were unlucky to come away with nothing. yes we could have been better with the final ball but we arent the team top if the league so i tend to cut them a bit of slack.

to be fair they only got those chances as we were chasing the game. i thought we played well.

i would imagine the lure of the lucre is more likely to take your players away from you. you may indeed keep them for another year but in reality teams like us are thier to be raped by the bigger clubs.For this reason i would like you to win the league and give them a bloody nose. (after a heavy fefeat at the weekend of course )

i dont think that was an unreasonable comment. 2wins in that rerrible run of 8 or 9 defeats woukdnt have been an unreasonable expectation. I think saints have again thrown aawaay a great chance to attack the top 4 spots. Maybe he amount of cash awash in the game means the smaller teams no have a bigger chance every year.

there are some really irritating ****s on this thread. usual suspects. personally i think aroun 12-13 points would be a decent haul and a respectable finish. Whilst playing 3 at the back is making us considerably more resillient, i fear that we are far too defensive. If RK sticks to this formation next season then there will need to be significant changes to plaing staff.

throwing chairs is acceptable? ok then. too much beer and sunshine and people get brave. regardless of the reporting they deserve everything they get IMO
