well we both know thats shyte based on spending pretty much all of the money from other sales. the question you may wish to ask is where is all the tv, sponsoship and ground revenue being spent because its not just wages.
interesting that Both Palace and Leicester are both looking to significantly strengthen based on their position in the league to have a right crack at the top 4. Saints on the other hand last season didn't take the opportunity. Disappointing but I Understand why not.
I am not expecting any signings in or out of any significance this January. We just have to accept that last seasons fun and games are the best we can really expect until someone comes in with a desire to bankroll the jump to the next level.
pace pace pace. we are flat, slow and offer no counter at all. long offers us that pace when he comes on and we look like we coukd be dangerous playing into the channels as in behind but he lacks any real technique.

i wouldn't have thought the transfer fee is too expensive for Austin but the wages would be the stumbling block. That means any striker is likely to come from abroad.
and who would you have bought to replace those two players? its no suprise we are a much worse side. you coukd argue thats its difficukt tomname two better players let alone actually have a chance of buying them.
that said the two we did select are pretty poor.
