agreed and to suggest he was hiding a little is just plain mental.

very much this! id rather have !ane in the side than Mayuka and isgrove. we do like a scapegoat on here followed by total overreactions to every performance he puts in. nothing like supporting your local team (and players). personally i get frustrated about team performances but never single out players for abuse / boooing etc.

i think city should seriouly consider letting aguero go on a free as he missed a 1on 1 chance against a keeper that some on saintsweb consider below par. he should habe chipped it over the keeper rather than try and take it around a guy. school bou error, get rid

ha ha, my mate always has a small bet on saints to lose and calls it his happiness tax.

On holiday in Australia, game will be at 7am Tuesday here. big challenge was finding out its on foxtel here. i have however comvinced my honeymoon bride to let me watch it lol

I am enjoying it while it lasts. Telling anyone who will listen that we will finish top 4. My view that when / if its goes pear shaped we can use the get out of jail card "well it was obvious it wouldn't last but im clearly going to take the opportunity to wind up all the plastic fans."

wasnt there a song sung to a former saints player that went.. celery, celery, if she dont come he will tickler bum, with a lump of celery. cant remember who it was though maybe peter shilton rings a bell.

also i noticed jack wilshire whining at the ref clearly looking for a card for targett. to55er. what was with the 5.5 mins if injury time as well? defo big club syndrome influencing the ref imo
-
I cant believe the ref booked him when he was subbed? I know he was jogging really slowly but surely the ref cant book you for that as he may have been carrying an injury?

my thoughts exactly, if the stadium at halftime only contained people who had actually donated it would have looked like a bournmeouth home game. shame all the people expressing thier admiration of his achievement actually put thier hand in thier pocket a decent it could have been so much more.
-
To be fair even our own fan base have barely contributed. Lets face it 87k to date is ****all. I can understand other teams fans not really being too interested in the challenge of a relatively unknown player but the saints fans should be all over this. The man is a saints legend and has put his body on the line for a serious challenge to raise money for a charity that without doubt has touched every single saints fan in some way. come on saints fans get your hands in your pockets and spare some cash for a great cause.
-
Donated . Great cause & great effort. Surprised his total is fairly low so far and hope that all saints fans dig deep as his challenge comes to an end. I think if Frannys team hit the stadium with a bucket collection on Saturday they would swell the totally from spontaneous dentations.

I would like to see Clyne and Shaw in at full back to add some pace and attacking support over the qualifying campaign and we will look a lot stronger. Swap out jones for Chambers and give him a run to help him develop and I think we would look a damn sight stronger. All in all a decent performance though.

You are correct, there are a fair few that do overreact. The key to that is learn from your mistakes and take a breath next time. You particularly remind me of the Homer Simpson in the scene where he ties to take the 6-pacl of beers of the electric pylon and you electrocute yourself every 3 seconds. You
