  1. I've used the phrase "in my experience" in previous posts so I thought it was fairly obvious that that is what I meant. Feel free to substitute that phrase for "I do think" in the sentence above if it is more agreeable to you (though it amounts to largely the same thing.) It does appear that facebook being the reserve of a majority of women is an opinion shared by a few others on here as well.
  2. Shows what an ignoramus you are then really.
  3. Odd post. Never claimed to be an expert on women and I don't think I've ever met a man who is. In fact, I said I don't really understand the appeal which suggests I am anything but an expert!
  4. Couldn't agree more. My bird uses facebook but I don't. I have though told her to refrain from mentioning me on there, something which I am told she sticks to. As to the content of her updates, I wouldn't know as I don't read them! Edit: Just had a look. The latest update is about Nsync and MTV. Hmmm
  5. Ah I see so you were largely agreeing with me. My apologies. WHilst I don't agree that every user of facebook is a woman, I do think that a large percentage of women are fascinated by facebook and I don't really understand the appeal (I expect it's similar to Heat magazine or something like that.)
  6. I didn't know bears could fish!
  7. Err no I didn't. I didn't imply that at all. You may have decided that that's what you wanted to see so attached meaning to my post that didn't exist but that's your problem. What I said was what I meant, there was no implication. I didn't even talk about the amount of women who use it, I said that in my experience most found it fascinating so you are talking nonsense.
  8. That did make me laugh Turkish.
  9. Oh dear you have made yourself look foolish. I of course did not say that every facebook user was a woman. Please note the line "in my experience most women find it fascinating." Some comprehension lessons may be called for sir.
  10. If rallyboy had written that I would not have been surprised!
  11. Who made this sexist derogatory and baseless statement that every facebook user was a woman then?
  12. Why did he bring a qaran to the match?
  13. Rickie is back
  14. Nothing like basing an opinion on one performance...
  15. What is untrue about the claim? I'm not an expert on football but it does seem that Blatter is blatantly corrupt and no one in certain countries seems to care.
  16. I struggle to think of any other major business or organisation that wields this much power yet has so much obvious corruption that is seemingly ignored outside of the UK. You are probably right in that there will have to be some major scandal. I was hoping for something with these corruption people but nothing yet.
  17. But if everyone in England think this, is this not the prevailing mood around the world? Or do they not care? Would be genuinely interested in world views because it did seem a few years ago that it was our FA against the rest. Sort of makes you wish that you had a time machine and could go back to the creation of FIFA and kept it accountable (and maybe kept the FA in charge of things. I wouldn't be perfect but would be better than now.) When was the last time we had a world cup outside of Europe that was actually decent? Korea was OK but South Africa was terrible and you just know Russia and Qatar are going to be disasters. It makes me very sad that decisions are never taken for the good of the game.
  18. What exactly are they voting for when they vote him in? Is the majority really that corrupt that they don't welcome any alternative? It's an incredible situation where the majority of football followers despise the person in charge and the only thing they can do is hope that age catches up with him!
  19. I see he looks like running for another four year term. How did this blatant corruption come about? How is it that the same man can be head of world football for so many years? I don't understand the process whereby he is continually re-elected and his challengers step down once he decides to go for another term because they know they have no chance of winning. When do we reckon FIFA will get the same kind of reforms as the IOC? When will there be work to sort out the corruption, make common sense decisions and restrict presidents to two terms each? Leadership for me starts at the top and with FIFA utterly corrupt no wonder there are complaints throughout the rest of football. What a thoroughly depressing situation: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26086940 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25818772
  20. By place do you mean house? If you do, why does she have childline files in her house?
  21. I expect he means milking it for all its worth to an absurd degree.
  22. I remember the prem league table was number 125 on ceefax.
  23. Thankfully that is a minority view and the vast majority will welcome a return to stripes.
