I disagree. I think many enjoy a bit of both and certainly scoring a goal is sweeter if you can see the despair on the face of the opposition supporters. Imagine how cr*p the derby would be if te skates were down the other end. Would not be half as good. A big part of football is the banter.
The "save the saints" game was a self appointed title. Anyone with half a brain knew it would make no difference. Look at our attendances for actual games that matter just before then.
FFS! I have an issue with my season ticket and I was told to ring up customer services on 08456889288. Have been trying constantly for three hours and instead of getting put on hold I get this message before it hangs me up. I remember feeling this frustration for the playoff game as well! Does anyone know any other numbers to try?
I don't bait opposition fans but I think it adds to the atmosphere to have the away fans right next to us. Also the atmosphere is better at away games because we are directly next to home supporters!
I think we are better than 2 years ago (1 year ago at least) and in with a chance to win trophies. Man city weren't miles better 6 months after their takeover...
