  1. Am I the only one who likes House?
  2. Well clearly I cannot be 100% sure what my reaction would be but looking at it now, I wouldn't want him or her put to death. What would it achieve?
  3. I just believe that fundamentally no one has the right to take someone elses life, no matter what they've done.
  4. Maybe there is just a load of pain when you die though without all the God stuff. No one can really say for sure what there is.
  5. TBH no one can be certain that death is the easy way out...
  6. I agree. The cases in America of people who were killed only to later be acquitted is enough to put me off. It's easy for people to say the words about killing someone but when faced with the realities (such as last noght's programme) I bet it changed a few people's minds.
  7. up and away, you are the last poster who should be commenting on financial matters given your previous record.
  8. Did you watch the programme last night?
  9. Was cabbage face's Mrs on here actually his Mrs?
  10. And since these principles are different for each individual, my point still stands.
  11. So are you unable to debate sensibly without resorting to insults? A shame.
  12. I take it from that that you've lost the argument and have accepted that someone else has a different view to your own. Nice to know.
  13. What exactly am I "not getting"? I'm not knocking tattoos, just saying that IMO they are not art and since there is no definitive definition of art, I'm not incorrect for saying that. Sigh I'm boring myself now.
  14. I don't think I mentioned anywhere what I considered art to be and what has timing got to do with anything? I fail to see how you aren't getting this. You think tattoos are art and I don't and neither of us are wrong because the definition of art is a personal one. Understand?
  15. Yeah I felt the same way. I think that was the point of the programme though. I bet GG watched it though
  16. It's not like that at all and I'm not trying to sound clever. An onion is a food whether you like the taste or not because it is used as fuel for your body and if you eat enough of it will fill you up. There are some tattoos that I really like the look of but that doesn't automatically qualify them as art, it's subjective because the definition of art is a personal one. Do you understand the difference?
  17. Only people who aren't saints supporters wouldn't be happy. Why buy shares in a football club in the first place?

  20. There is no definitive definition of art and so therefore I can say that IMO a tattoo is not art and you can say that in your opinion it is but you cannot state as fact that it is or isn't.
  21. Ok then define art and then say why it's ridiculous.
  22. Well you've stated it as fact there when in fact the definition of art is open for debate. It's not definitively art and I would argue that it most certainly isn't.
  23. If reports by posters on here are anything to go by then certainly! Not answering calls for a start could have been one of a number of things which could have resulted in Liebherr getting annoyed and pulling out.
  24. It was dismissed as meaningless in the show. There were a large number of plot holes (why did he have to be hung in 30 days? That's very unrealistic.) but the point of it wasn't to create a watertight case.
  25. Best thing on TV for ages. I am against the death penalty anyway but it really brought it home. The actor who played GG was fantastic too.
