I was motivated to start this thread because most weeks lots of people people put him left mid in their ideal eleven yet he never ever gets a chance there. Totally wasted at left back IMO. Can Mclaggon play wide right? If so have Skacel wide left with DMG and Saga up front and Surman in the middle. I still think we need another midfielder for the other CM position

Leaving Skacel and Rasiak out of the team as criminal. I never understood it. It's such a shame we can't have stern John and Saga up front now. I would be pleased with that pairing.

It annoys me a bit on here when everyone criticises Skacel or says he was ****e. In my opinion he has been treated pretty shabbily by those in charge and certainly deserve a place in the team in a number of positions. Who could honestly tell me that they do not believe he is a better footballer than Molyneux, Holmes or Smith? Persoannl I would play him wide left but he has never been given a chance there. Why do those in charge seemingly ignore his obvious ability? Ok he hasn't lived up to the ridiculus hype of when he signed but he is a lot better than quite a few players on the pitch. He should play and his contribution to the team should be recognised.

If you listened to the interview he comes off quite reasonable IMO.

Well Fulthorpe hasn't come on here or in the press spouting off so I don't care. He can do what he likes.

Even if we stay up I will see this season as wasted. The original youth policy was a total failiurs and is the reason that we are where we are.

No idea why we fail to play Skacel left midfield, especially now Holmes is injured. He is the best available player in that position

I totally agree. Saga did not get a proper consistent run last season and the stats prove that Stern scored a lot more when Saga played alongside him. He is vastly better than DMG in my opinion and I was amazed that he did not start the game.

Who when then sold on for a profit! Davies was not an error IMO but I suppose that bit is just opinion. It doesn't matter anyway because we can both agree that he is a better choice than Lowe and Wilde can't we? That is the salient point.

If Crouch pays off the overdraft then some of the money which would have been spent paying it off could then be spent on players/ a new manager etc. Seems quite simple to me.

And I knew someone would make that comment! What evidence is there that Crouch let his support cloud his managerial judgement whilst in charge? Why just because someone is a fan means that they will automatically see things as a fan and will be incapable of making sensible judgements? He opposed the signing of Ewell and he is a successful millionaire.

So is there a direct quote from Crouch? Or is it just the reporter's interpretation? So he could quite easily have meant what I said couldnt he (that is clearly what he meant.) Oh and English is a nationality. Sigh can't believe I'm even bothering to reply.

They can handle all incoming and outgoing trasfers, force saints to sell off players for less than they are worth and a lot more thing besides. Paying off the overdraft will make a significant difference IMO. It will allow us to run the club more effectively without shackles.

Good post. I was not actually dead against Lowe until recently. His recent actions including the AGM means that he simply has to leave before this club can be in any way united again.

Perhaps it is the issue that Barclays have. People have said that they are effectively controlling everything. If the overdraft were paid off, perhaps the club could operate more effectively.

When Crouch says English he means someone who understands the lower English leagues and with experience of what is required to do well in the CCC. Nine times out of ten that is a British person or at least someone who has had experience of playing/managing in this league.

It's noting to do with revenge and everything to do with being a fan who wants to help out the club, saomething that you and Lowe would never understand.
