  1. How do you keep anyone anywhere? I'd keep it secure. I agree it would need time to get it ready but we could make resources and kit it out properly if there was the will to do so. I agree that this would be expensive and potentially difficult but it isn't impossible so it's not true to say that there is nothing that can be done about it, particularly because they haven't been tried properly. If we get to a situation where people are housed in basic accommodation securely with others and substantial number are leaving regularly and attempted crossings don't come down then I will accept there is nothing that can really be done.
  2. There are ideas outlined above for reducing the number coming here. It won't stop it entirely but the numbers coming will be much lower. I completely understand if people disagree with those ideas or think they are not what we should be doing but they do exist.
  3. I agree it will cost quite a lot of money initially but over time it will cost less once the infrastructure is up and running and less people come because they know they won't be staying. I would look to revive the idea of an overseas territory or a nearby island for processing but I accept that has difficulties or may be unfeasible. I see that other countries have looked for agreements with Rwanda but if something like that is tried it needs to be done properly. The main thing is to get many people being deported in a short space of time and keep it running so that the message gets out there that if you come here illegally you aren't staying. I'd simultaneously be looking at old army barracks-like Weathersfield and maybe looking to expand them- to see how much of that can be repurposed to hold people whilst they are processed. Once people realise that once they get here they won't be staying and it will likely be worse than France the numbers are very likely to go down significantly. I also saw the idea mooted of paying some people to leave but I'm not sure how successful that would be because it would likely act as a pull factor for some.
  4. In all seriousness is he suffering from a serious mental problem or something in his personal life? He was relatively successful abroad albeit in a lower league and looked decent with that finish in pre season but since then he's done virtually nothing. It's almost bizarre how poor he has been.
  5. The fact that a sizable number do mind is the only thing that matters and how do we know for sure how many women feel uncomfortable by the presence of a man in a female only space? No women should be in a position where they have to use a female changing room and have a biological man in it. Similarly things like female prisons, rape crisis centres etc. If you ensure that female only spaces are restricted to biological women then the only people inconvenienced by that will be biological me who feel comfortable presenting as a woman. Unfortunately that will mean they will have to either use the spaces that are aligned with their biological sex or an alternative neutral space if one is provided.
  6. The previous government are twats but they were rightly voted out so I don't care about them anymore. What matters now is what the current government are doing. TBF to them on this issue, if you aren't appointing a judge then it's going to be hard to find someone with a distinguished history in child safeguarding that wasn't involved in social work or the police in some way. I would definitely try to get someone neutral that's beyond reproach and without anything to do with the Labour party.
  7. I actually think it's right that as a responsible country we take a reasonable share of people who are genuinely fleeing for their lives as long as they are willing to contribute to the country and share our values. I just don't believe that anyone entering the country illegally should be allowed to stay because it simply incentives everyone to try it.
  8. For a start change the law. Leave the ECHR, announce that anyone coming over on small boats is breaking the law and is a criminal and no one would be allowed to stay. Patrol the waters, you could look into creating a processing facility on a smaller island but that might not be feasible. You should definitely look into creating secure bases that can house people where you wouldn't be free to roam about the local community. Look to get those detained removed from the country as quickly as possible. Threaten some nations with sanctions if they refuse to take back their people. At the same time you could offer to cooperate with the French in order to properly police things on their end. After a short period of that it would remove most invcentives for trying to cross on a small boat and the numbers attempting to do so would drop like a stone. Not saying I necessarily agree with that by the way but it would be more effective than what we have now
  9. It seems like the only team having a tougher time of things than us is Norwich. Potentially our fate in a year or two.
  10. We could easily stop it or at least massively reduce it but many in power are uncomfortable to do it because it feels unfair.
  11. Both candidates the government had chosen to lead the Pakistani rape gang inquiry have now withdrawn after 4 months with not a lot happening. What a complete shitshow.
  12. Ffs... It’s like a scene from a farce: Home Office sources have confirmed that one person sent to France under the UK-France treaty – which allows people who cross the Channel to Britain in small boats to be sent back in exchange for bringing the same number in France to the UK via a legal route – is now back in the UK. He returned by a small boat.
  13. I'm not sure your anecdotal evidence of females you know is of any more value than the absolute ton of evidence from women who very much do mind. There's also men with daughters and other female relatives who mind very much. Also worth pointing out that if you have an issue with men in general then that would include trans women.
  14. Yeah he's just not good enough for this level I'm afraid and not experienced enough. We've brought in loads of players and then aren't utilising them correctly. Most of them are sat on the bench or not in the squad. I'm not sure who to bring in but get someone with championship experience.
  15. I've been to three games this season. I can't see myself wasting my time any time soon until they give me a reason
  16. The good news when we are so bad is that I just stop caring. I gave up after a few games last year and just coated to the end of the season trying to find the funny side out of it all. A couple more like this and I'll be doing the same this season.
  17. One of our best half hours of the season for the first half hour with numerous chances and controlling the game and 78% possession. Then we scored and sat off and let them score. Second half I stopped watching when we went behind again so no idea.
  18. OK that's it. Still out.
  19. There's loads of issues with children and women. Trans ideology and the real world harm that has been done to children because of it is one issue and it involves both men and women (oh and of course trans women are biological men.)
  20. I find that phrase very odd. When you have institutions like the NHS rowing in behind this stuff to the point that women are forced to change in the presence of a biological man, how is that lacking power? Until recently did you see the annual accounts of Stonewall and the amount of big businesses lining up behind gender ideology? It's not actually about punching anyone- metaphorically or otherwise-for many it is about protecting children and young people who don't know any better from doing irreversible harms to themselves in order to chase a fantasy that doesn't exist.
  21. Thankfully many of these people who said they were trans did it for attention and most made no changes beyond a bit of makeup and clothing. The ones who took puberty blockers or had surgery are the ones who have had permanent alterations done and will rightly feel devastated by the choices the adults in their lives made. They were meant to protect them. It's a tragic situation all round but I hope any medical professionals involved are jailed for a long time.
  22. Who could possibly have guessed.
  23. Here you go.
