Right then it seems that the club have decided not to get rid of Jones before Wolves. With that choice they share some of the culpability now and it will be much harder to forgive them and move on once he does finally get the sack. It's not good sacking him after the next game and then coming out with lines trying to absolve themselves. Now is the opportunity to do that, they aren't taking it and fans do not forget.

Ankerson must think it will be even sweeter and he will look even more of a genius once Jones turns it around and proves everyone wrong.

Could be completely true but that doesn't change who Jones is and the fact that he is not the answer at all, regardless of what the players are like. The players aren't at fault for the B team stunt nor for the Lavia comments. They didn't tell him to play Walcott, start his mate Bree with no time to bed in and the same for Bednarek.

The bloke who hosted the twitter spaces thing last night is going so I expect we will hear a fair amount of it, if not a live stream.

Some reports of a 10AM board meeting. If that's the case then it won't be announced until midday at the earliest. You would hope someone would be able to find out if he's at training today or not.

If true, let's forgive and forget for Ankerson. Everyone makes mistakes and whilst this is a big one, it's a positive that he has recognised the error and looked to rectify it quickly.
