  1. As always with every single opposition party, they'll vote against a bill because of the implications or because it's not how they would handle it and then the people in charge will accuse them of wanting to see starving kids or dead grannies. It's very irritating but that's politics for you whoever is in charge. It's one reason I had a bit of respect for Andy Burnham in local politics when he praised the Conservatives for doing something he thought was a good idea. I'd like more of that on both sides quite frankly but tbf labour have done an absolute shed load of bad stuff over the last year.
  2. Yeah proper shit were the conservatives. Not sure it makes what Labour are doing -or not doing-any better though.
  3. It was a slightly flippant comment. Absolutely not anti labour whatever they do by the way. You'll see a few examples on this very thread where I've praised them when they've done well. The problem is they are few and far between for obvious reasons.
  4. They won't be launching much in that case!
  5. Note the word hopefully.
  6. Hopefully the last time we ever see him in a Saints shirt and the last time we have to talk about him.
  7. Looks like a used car ad.
  8. We strengthen Qpr with Edwards whilst weakening stoke. Giveth and taketh away.
  9. Do you accept that statistically he is one of the worst if not the worst keeper in the league ?
  10. This is either untrue in which case it's an insult and ridiculous or it is true and we are a joke for signing him. Could well be that he was signed just to appease the fans with no idea of his actual condition.
  11. TBF he really made the role of effeminate, closet 70s gay his own.
  12. Most things that Daniel day Lewis is in. Remarkable actor.
  13. I miss the support from when we got relegated to league one the last time. Consistently great home and away. One that stood out was Plymouth at home where we sang oh when the saints non stop for about half an hour.
  14. I'm inclined to agree. We don't routinely concede goals late in games.
  15. I accept the opposition is lower but who could have guessed we change formation and look a lot better. What a shock.
  16. I'll reserve judgement until we know if this is 4 or 5.
  17. I wouldn't overthink it. It's just a nice looking shirt commemorating when we won a trophy. Very expensive but will appeal to some people.
  18. I would add we get knocked out or win in an unimpressive fashion.
  19. They didn't buy Tella or livramento.
  20. Edwards is a defender and has played at right back a number of times throughout his career. Playing Edwards at right back doesn't weaken another area of the team in the same way it does by not playing Fellows on the wing alongside Scienza. No one is claiming Fellows is a genius that's your disingenuous hyperbole but he is highly effective on the wing and particularly with Scienza on the other side. It also means we don't have to play three centre backs which is another one of our problems.
  21. I don't disagree. The formation is by no means entirely to blame, it's just one factor that can be changed.
  22. Wouldn't be a surprise if Fraser goes and clearly Bazunu. With Edozie, Aribo and Edwards then that's a pretty decent clearout for January.
  23. Is it that inept? They will almost certainly sell out and quickly.
  24. If you've got the money to spend then I'm not going to ridicule someone for buying it- it's lovely. It's a shame they didn't make it the official away shirt for this year that would have been superb and probably sold by the bucketload.
  25. Is it much worse than Saints go Wilde or Stop the count?
