I'm a saints fan but I'm also a football fan. The two champions league games were highly entertaining examples of football so I enjoyed watching them. I'd rather Liverpool didn't win anything so I definitely want spurs to win the final but I find it weird that someone would be so fixated on saints that they couldn't ever appreciate good games of football.

Whilst I agree to an extent, I also think the players were a lot closer to the fans back then and had a lot more heart and passion which inspired the fans. The performances under pellegrino especially were an absolute disgrace and had we experienced similar I think you would see really poor atmospheres as well

Yep. The real test will not be whilst we scrape by just about staying up, it will be at some point over the next few seasons when we finally get relegated and have to be financed properly to survive.
