  1. I expect he turned it down rather than us.
  2. All those posters imploring people to wait until the end of the window are quite quiet...
  3. Preferably image based evidence.
  4. Considering how little he has played that would be surprising.
  5. Seems I was maybe optimistic with the loanee RB comment.
  6. Nah that would be when we got Carillo.
  7. FFS we turned down 7 million? Madness!
  8. Let's cross our fingers that we scrape through to the summer then. Inspiring...
  9. Superb? He was crap.
  10. True but it doesn't look like we will get relegated either which is probably the objective for this season.
  11. If it was a Hughes performance we would have lost.
  12. That's just exaggerating. We weren't great but we certainly weren't awful. I'm very happy with a point.
  13. I'm surprised at how assured sakho and their rb have looked. Also Stephens has looked rubbish.
  14. Palace have defended really well
  15. I e actually been quite interested in that chlorinated chicken news. Is there a reason it's seen as OK in the US but frowned on here? I'm not advocating for it I just don't know and I'd be interested in finding out.
  16. Why did you assume it would be any different from the last two Januarys?
  17. Yep. Playing with your premier league place like that is a dangerous game.
  18. Yes but you may get a different answer if you asked if saints would get maximum points from both games
  19. Because we have found it tough to win games at home against more defensive teams. They are also those 6 pointer games with a lot at stake that both teams will be desperate to get points from. Very difficult to get maximum points from both even though it is possible.
  20. Has he shown flashes of ability? I haven't seen it.
  21. That's my prediction. Hopefully we will do a little better and get a win instead of a draw. Palace are in good form though, Burnley away will be a very tough game, I think Cardiff is where we are most likely to get a win but I don't think we will win both that and the Fulham game and arsenal away we will lose. Fine margins.
  22. For a few windows now we have been very much in need of strengthening but we seem to drag out negotiations in the hope of maybe getting a deal over the line that we haven't paid full price for. I think we probably do have a little bit of money to spend but I don't think we have any desire to pay the proper money required in January to get our main targets. We've shown a pattern of not really commiting to signings in January as we obviously believe it's poor value which would be fine if we hadn't just let a load of our players leave. If we get injuries this could come back to bite us considering how close we are to the relegation zone.
  23. Looking good so far.
  24. Exactly so the point was that he performed very poorly in a game and people agreed that he was poor in that game. Very few people wrote him off completely on the basis of one game like you did. You were wrong in 2015 and you're wrong now
  25. You're one of them on there. Besides the vast majority in that thread were saying he was rubbish in that particular game or had been poor for a few games. Very few were saying he was an awful player or that he would never make it.
