  1. Quite possible but nothing he has done yet can be a particular cause for concern as he hasn't actually done anything yet.
  2. He really hasn't done anything yet. It's a bit dramatic to say noticing he has done fills you with confidence. Depressed of Shirley indeed.
  3. I haven't copied anyone you loon. The reason others haven't been accused like you is because none of them are posting in a sarcastic way and with a supercilious manner. They also aren't calling the vast majority on here reactionary or knee jerk because they aren't happy with the football that has been dished up and have little faith that things can change.
  4. He obviously hasn't sat through all the games this season.
  5. Are you seriously trying to suggest that our performances thus far are the same as the other teams in the league? You realise that statistically we have scored the fewest amount of goals at home and over the entire year represent the WORST value for money of every time in the league by some significant distance? That's before you even look at the style of play.
  6. I can't see how he can survive Sunday without a comprehensive win and a decent performance. I expect if we start losing the atmosphere will turn ugly and I can see chants against the manager
  7. It starts with a shot on target...
  8. Do you have to be a contrarion in every thread in a desperate attempt to feel superior? Football has changed and is nothing like it was under those two managers, there is so much at stake that teams can no longer afford to give managers a season and hope that they turn things around. You would hope that a new manager would try some new things and get some more out of the players. I believe fans have much more of a tolerance for managers that do this and who you can see is making us better even if it's a slow process. Comments from our current manager about how we need to keep doing the same things and how we are playing well show that the managers has little idea of any problems and it is for that reason that he needs to be replaced with someone who does recognise the issues and who demonstrates improved performances and a less dull and defensive mindset.
  9. People penning letters like that don't actually know what general consensus means.
  10. Personally I think if we lose on Sunday and don't show any spirit or fight like we have done in almost every game this season then i think I will be toxic and I can't see how he can last another week. If it's the same team with the same tactics and formation on Sunday then I'll expect him to be gone by next Wednesday.
  11. If you look at our three wins this season, you realise it could be so much worse. Had we not had that superb solo effort from boufal or the last minute penalty against the hammers then we would be much worse off. We haven't had a great performance all season and have looked unconvincing even in victory.
  12. The worst bit about that is the atrocious spelling and grammar. Who is miss informing ffs? He genuinely sounds like that 8 year old kid who sent in his fiver that he found.
  13. It says a lot that you're virtually the only saints fan I have seen that doesn't want him gone. Maybe you should start questioning your judgement rather than calling almost every other saints fan wrong.
  14. Yeah this basically. The problem is we would most likely be cr*p in the championship as well so given that choice I'd rather be rubbish in the top league.
  15. Lots of rumours that puel was sacked because he didn't recognise any need to play better football and he wasn't popular with the players so I fail to see how it's the fans fault for being unhappy with months of subpar performance. The mistake was sacking the last man and then not replacing them with someone better.
  16. Personally I really enjoyed the one from chaplow. I'm not really interested in pellegrino as I think he will be gone soon and doesn't have much to say but I appreciate the effort of doing these so thanks.
  17. See and then you get simpletons like this who want to absolve the manager of any blame whatsoever. Again, it's not a black and white situation and whilst the board have to take their share of the blame, pellegrino is in no way blameless.
  18. Ultimatt- the board undoubtedly have some blame but so too does the manager. It's not an either or scenario.
  19. There is now with West brom...
  20. Is K Billy a club plant? Do we have Lowe pr company mark 2?
  21. That sounds almost like two different people...
  22. Why did you vote for pellegrino to stay out of interest?
  23. Can't really hurt anything in this case. I think I'll stick a tweet up if I remember.
  24. I can understand keeping him this long - the logic was to see us against a better team who would attack us to see if the style suited us better. Now we have shown we are equally useless against that style, those at the top must be preparing to get rid either this week or if we lose to Everton the week after. If it goes on any longer than that then I really will have no idea what the club are thinking. It must be pretty gutting for the higher ups to see us lose our identity, all the Southampton way stuff and the things that made us exciting and interesting for neutrals in a season or two. Maybe we need another 5 year plan and demonstrate some vision, purpose and drive and give the club some direction because seemingly we have none at the moment. I wonder if it's anything to do with this takeover?
