  1. I remember the day he left and some people on here acted like the club had died. It was great that he left and meant we could keep the things that worked whilst getting rid of all the rubbish.
  2. It never came to light, it was pointed out fairly often but the usual suspects didn't want to hear it. They didn't care if he treated everyone like sh*t as long as they were winning. I'm glad some people still had principles.
  3. I Knew someone would try that line! So the only way to be a success is to be an a*sehole to ex players and local businesses? What rubbish. Cortege was a success because he gave us direction, a plan and he had money. We were perfectly capable of doing all those things without all the guff that came with it.
  4. Yep and a large number of posters on here were adamant that we couldn't be successful without that. Glad that has been shown to be complete horsesh*t and the club is much better being successful in the way they are now.
  5. I went and I enjoyed it. I still got annoyed by some of the inane questions though and people making it all about them.
  6. Firstly that shows how uninteresting some of the questions were. Secondly most of that discussion was instigated by a militant feminist on here. I would guess that most saints fans took it for the throwaway comment that it was and then promptly forgot about it.
  7. Where is kelvins right glove to tell us how Ralph shows what a racist and sexist society Britain is nowadays?
  8. I'm sure he is deeply affected by your opinion that seemingly no one else shares.
  9. It's not old school it's how normal people react to what was clearly a lighthearted comment. Not everyone is an uber feminist like yourself. I expect the majority of women there weren't in the least bit offended because context is always key with these things and there was obviously no malice there. Be offended if you wish but don't expect many (or any so far) people to share those feelings. Most people prefer to get hot under the collar about things that matter, not some imagined slight from the chairman.
  10. Pretty sure he said how to keep women happy. It wasn't sexist...
  11. It's really out of character for Lou to jump on her sexist high horse and scream sexist at the first opportunity. Now he's lost Lou's respect I expect he will be reassessing his role at SFC. It's that serious.
  12. It's a blatant exaggeration to try to challenge something that didn't exist and this didn't need challenging. Some people don't see the need for a women's saints team, that doesn't make them sexist or mean they are ordering women back into the kitchen and it makes you look pretty pathetic for suggesting it does.
  13. How is it? It's a statement of fact. If he spent his time p*ssing off his wife then he wouldn't have been married so long.
  14. Being honest though it isn't really saints, just like Chelsea ladies aren't Chelsea.
  15. Franks cousin for one.
  16. I think they have some value in that they shine a spotlight on prices and will hopefully stop some clubs jacking up prices too much because it will be highlighted and criticised.
  17. Well done saints. What a feelgood story of the club going above and beyond to help a supporter. Proud.
  18. Who on earth would choose West Brom as their prem team???
  19. It was obvious he was a decent buy IMO. Even in his poorer games he showed that he was a good player who would scare defenders.
  20. Well a load of saints fans disagree with you so I'm not sure why that makes your opinion any more valid.
  21. It's not illegal and I don't consider it morally ambiguous either. If anyone had a real issue with it then the law could easily be changed to stop the practice from happening but they don't because it isn't an issue. It's not about cheating taxes, it's about securing maximum investment in the team in a totally legal way.
  22. We clearly aren't. It's common business practice.
  23. Well his father is a barrister so he comes from good stock.
