  1. I'm glad they had fun. Why bucks feels the need to put it on here I have no idea!
  2. He'd probably prefer that to the championship with QPR. Clearly we wanted him for the Europa but we crashed out early door so he will get less game time.
  3. Since when is that a sign of quality? Derek got a golden globe nomination and Mrs browns boys has won awards and both are complete sh*t.
  4. Seemed pretty clear to me. Not like soggy to form wildly incorrect opinions without thinking...
  5. Because we would do it in a horrendous way and it would look like the equivalent of the pompey bandstand.
  6. That's because it's something new. He would have made the news whatever he did. He might get away with it once or twice but if he does that every week then it's not going to look good for him.
  7. You fruitloop. This injury proves that he made the right deal at the right time. He could easily have had a similar injury at saints and he wouldn't have had the multi million pounds to cushion the blow.
  8. I really don't think it's as big of an issue as you claim. Even people I know who read he mail understand the bias and sensationalism in it. It's frequently satirised in other media so it's hardly a secret.
  9. Or maybe they come from a different time and thus are more prejudiced anyway and the Mail simply confirms their pre-existing bias?
  10. Why does it matter? It's not like he would have much else to do.
  11. I'm sorry your mum is so gullible but I would suggest that's a minority rather than the majority.
  12. That's patently nonsense. I'm sorry but it's simply untrue. Where is the evidence to suggest they are better off? Ask anyone from those countries and they will disagree with you.
  13. I don't think that's really true. The public aren't just a passive receptacle who swallow everything they hear. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't know that the mail and the sun have very silly articles in the main. Even people who buy them say that.
  14. The inflexibility of the euro made a bad situation much worse. No doubt Greece got themselves into it but the euro meant it was virtually impossible for them to get out without those huge bailouts. All those countries you mentioned coped much worse than the UK with the crash precisely because they were locked in to the euro. Retrospectively many old supporters of the euro have admitted it was fortunate we didn't decide to join. Financial union doesn't work properly without political union. I doubt you will find many who will agree with your pro euro stance for the UK. That's before you even mention things like my Italian relatives who still complain that the confusion from the change meant that almost everyone put their prices up and they never came down...
  15. Seriously? How can you look at Greece and consider it anything other than an utter disaster?
  16. I was there. Do you mean the one where rickie scored to win it at the death?
  17. Without proper subsidies from the government they will.
  18. That was flipping brilliant. He's definitely my favourite ever saints manager, just seemed to fit the club so well. What a guy.
  19. You may describe it as sh*t but I doubt you have any experience in that particular sector. Try talking to nursery providers for their response. All those I know are finding the new rise incredibly difficult to cope with, particularly because they are also coping with the 30 free hours being introduced imminently (Southampton have volunteered to trial it for some unknown reason.)
  20. I'll believe that when I see the government prepared to pay a proper hourly rate per child. Never ever going to happen.
  21. That ignores smaller businesses like nurseries. If the minimum wage rises to the level Jeremy wants then every nursery in the country will be out of business.
  22. Thankfully you're the only person who holds that idiotic opinion.
  23. Ward prowse has been terrible.
  24. I don't live in fear I just live my life and I realise it's unlikely I'll be caught up in a terrorist attack. At the same time I realise there are people trying to commit terrorism offences and given half a chance they would do so in the UK. It's most probably die to action we take abroad including stuff we don't know about that prevents many of these atrocities from taking place. You only have to hear from the secret service to know how many plots are foiled every year. Clearly what we do stops these things from happening.
