I don't think Bournemouth is really much better than Southampton in terms of things to do.

Spurs are much bigger than saints but that doesn't mean we can't aspire to be better than them in the medium to long term. It will clearly be toby's choice and if he chooses spurs then I'll be disappointed but certainly won't blame the club.

We will surely know by now if Toby wants to join us or not. Sours making all this noise suggests that they haven't actually reached agreement yet. I'm hopeful of marching a reasonable offer from spurs and then it's down to Toby. We clearly want him and I would hope that he would see us as closer to spurs than the likes of United or Chelsea. Our advantage is that he has a good partnership here and seemingly likes us. If he doesn't come here then I doubt very much that it will be to do with the fee, he will have just decided to go to spurs.

Well yes I can see that point of view but I think it's difficult to prove that his poor performances are due to a lack of effort rather than a dropoff in form. Regarding your second point, I presume you know something I don't about Clyne not responding to offers. If that is the case then yes I agree, but it must have been obvious to the club that he didn't want to sign some time ago. Why all the leaks about being positive he will sign?
