  1. Yeah that's what I disagree with.
  2. But all the others are subject to extremely strict criteria yet no one from Europe is. How is that fair just because you happen to be born outside of Europe?
  3. This is the idiocy I'm talking about. I'm not a 'ukipper' I voted for the tories last time and labour before that. It's your pathetic attitude that makes people disillusioned with politics in general. There is no mental gymnastics involved. I can't speak for ukip but I want fairness with immigration. If we need a profession then we should be welcoming to anyone from around the world who can contribute to this country not just anyone who fancies it from Europe.
  4. That's a very specific job and no reason why for a job like that there can't be agreements to continue to make their job easier. It's doesn't have to be as black and white as people suggest.
  5. Nice article. Will be interesting to see if we do any business in January.
  6. Why does having a free trade agreement mean we have to accept freedom of movement?
  7. Someone must have done that as a joke surely ha.
  8. It's just the definition of saved which is different I feel
  9. I agree that immigrants have done a lot of positive things. The report doesn't address the basic unfairness of someone being able to move here purely because they are from Europe whilst others such as new Zealanders miss out.
  10. Odd you should think that when all I've done is reply to people who have said things to me.
  11. I never said that either.
  12. You can argue about the use of the word saved but the implication for some on here was that without Markus the club would have ceased to exist and I disagree. Anyway let's move on from it now.
  13. Yeah I've seen it a bit in the behind the scenes videos. I can't help but think though that the stadium would be quite different had it been built when this regime were in charge. I wonder if they will look to change anything.
  14. Nope. I agree with everything you have said.
  15. Sorry mate will have to agree to disagree. You may think we were going to do something that no other club in our position has ever done (even those who were "days from liquidation") but the truth is we weren't going to get liquidated.
  16. Agree with all that. We are clearly very lucky to have got who we got and there is no doubt things would have been very different without Markus. We are being run in the right way. I liked what a poster said earlier about the word saved potentially meaning saving the football club in the form we know today- a professional outfit that is admired. I think that's right.
  17. Personally I consider reviving to be a particularly apt way to describe it and in no way pathetically lukewarm. It is you who have imbued the word with those properties based on your bias against me. Just looked up the definition: "an improvement in the condition, strength, or fortunes of someone or something." Now to me that is precisely what Markus did for us, it's a perfect definition and it's something we can all be thankful about. Hopefully we can agree!
  18. Possibly. Certainly more likely to over something I experience in real life than a video on YouTube but as someone correctly pointed out earlier, we are all different.
  19. Would be nice to make the actual stadium a bit more like this as well. A lot of character in the training ground now and having some of this in the fan areas would add to the atmosphere I feel.
  20. Simply replying to those who have responded to me. It's called a forum and that tends to happen
  21. Eh? I've consistently said what a great video that was and what a positive this sort of thing is (and how much more attractive we will be for youth products.) I'm simply challenging the myth that had Markus not bought us we would have gone into liquidation. It has never happened to any other similar team and it wouldn't have happened to us. That doesn't detract from the great new training facilities or the positive PR generated from this and it's odd you would think it does.
  22. Erm are you disputing that Markus and his money revived the club? Because from where we were to where we are is a revival in my book!
  23. Very happy thanks. Have posted on here how great the videos were.
  24. Yeah I can broadly agree with that view. He certainly revived the club at any rate.
