Personally I think it's much too hasty to say something like that. Jay rod didn't look that great in our first season up and it takes time to adjust to the Prem. IMO if we sign him then we will have seen something in our analysis that we like. He is young with plenty of time on his side and could be a bargain.

What do you mean by has it under control?
-
It works on my phone. Just a pdf file.
-
Which was my entire point. The appeal has nothing to do with the family changing their minds. You would have thought that someone who works for the cps would know that.
-
Thanks for the support.

Mayuka never plays so what would be the point? We only need one if we need any at all.

What difference does no one else responding mean? No one has responded in the way you have. Each post has taken me about thirty seconds to compose so it's really not taking up a lot of my day. Let's agree that your first comment was wrong. By you ignoring it again I'll take that as an apology and we can move on.

Again why do you keep saying things like "knickers in a twist" or start getting personal? I'm perfectly calm thanks. I'm not saying anything about you other than your original statement that "clearly the parents have changed their minds" is untrue. Nowhere is it clear that the parents have clearly changed their minds from last week which is what you said. I expect they probably take the view of the family into account and perhaps they have changed their minds (though that isn't "clear" from what we know.) Personally I believe they considered this case to be so high profile and thus in the public interest to push for the harshest sentence they can to act as a deterrent to South African society who have a large number of gun toting loonies (according to my South African mate anyway who has been following the case.) IMO this would be their first consideration rather than what the family thinks. Oh and thanks for the mock concern but it's a little weird you think I am worked up, I don't pretend to know how you're feeling when typing your reply on a keyboard.

Why is that evidence that she changed her mind and wants to appeal now?
-
And villa twice who have looked turd.
-
Where is the evidence that the parents have clearly changed their minds? Please show me because I can't see to find it. Why are you using the British justice system to look at this case? As has already been pointed out to you, that's irrelevant here.

Pochettino asks Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez

Have you? But even if you had would you expect a different answer? His contract remaining unsigned says more than his words could. -
Swap with Jay?

Pochettino asks Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez

I want more than 15 million to be honest. Closer to 20 please. -
Well he wants to stay and we want to sign him. Get it sorted.

Perfectly happy and content thanks. You don't know me. I know about as much as you regarding the south African legal system, the difference is I'm not making up stuff. The parents haven't "clearly changed their minds" have they? There is no evidence for that.
-
So the phrase "clearly they have changed their minds" isn't true then is it. There is clearly more at stake here than just the feelings of the parents and they would no doubt have appealed whatever the parents think because it is such a high profile case with a lot riding on it. As I said, either side were going to appeal whatever the outcome so it's neither a surprise nor an indication that anything will be changed.
-
So you are saying that if the family didn't want to appeal that the south African prosecutors would not do so? Even if they felt the verdict was incorrect? That doesn't sound right at all.
-
South African prosecutors are appealing. As I understand it that has nothing to do with the family.
-
Not that interesting really. Either side would have appealed depending on the outcome.

You're voting labour you say? You DO surprise me.

I largely agree with Lord d. I'm pretty disillusioned by politics at the moment with all of the party largely doing the same thing. I'm not sure about a referendum at the moment since my suspicion is that we would vote to stay and the politicians would see that as a green light for ever closer union. I would like the comfortable established parties to feel like their jobs are under threat because that is the only thing that will spur them into doing something meaningful. Net migration last year was something like +35% and I do not consider that sustainable or sensible levels so I would like to see a points or quota system as recently proposed by Boris. I think voting UKIP is a good way to keep the current politicians on their toes and will mean we are more likely to sort out the euro mess in the long term and then we can concentrate on other things. Sadly this may mean that ed milliband may be prime minister (shudder). Whilst I wasn't alive at the time, the common market vote made sense but that agreement has been twisted and now I think many older people feel let down and lied to so I would like some of that damage reversed. I recognise some of the good that Europe does and I would like to keep the good bits (the ease of going on holiday and trade etc) without being dictated to by Brussels and being able to create our own laws without them being superseded by Europe as that laughs in the face of democracy. If Europe point blank refuse to accept that then we will have no choice but to leave completely and I hope if dave is unsuccessful with renegotiation that he backs that as well (he wont though, he will fob us off with a meaningless concession). Apologies for the rambling thoughts but I'm in the car and have my mind on work at this time of the morning. If you have anything else you would like to know please ask .

I'm struggling to think of anyone we need to sign in January.

Spurs were just better than us on the day. Not sure we were unlucky to lose that tbh. Liverpool we were though.

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?
