  1. I think they have some value in that they shine a spotlight on prices and will hopefully stop some clubs jacking up prices too much because it will be highlighted and criticised.
  2. Well done saints. What a feelgood story of the club going above and beyond to help a supporter. Proud.
  3. Who on earth would choose West Brom as their prem team???
  4. It was obvious he was a decent buy IMO. Even in his poorer games he showed that he was a good player who would scare defenders.
  5. Well a load of saints fans disagree with you so I'm not sure why that makes your opinion any more valid.
  6. It's not illegal and I don't consider it morally ambiguous either. If anyone had a real issue with it then the law could easily be changed to stop the practice from happening but they don't because it isn't an issue. It's not about cheating taxes, it's about securing maximum investment in the team in a totally legal way.
  7. We clearly aren't. It's common business practice.
  8. Well his father is a barrister so he comes from good stock.
  9. No one is having a go at him, simply saying he's a bit embarrassing and makes people cringe when he talks. It's not the worst thing in he world but I would prefer that he let others be the club's mouthpiece.
  10. The best bit in that article is when they compare Dortmund to St Mirren.
  11. You should read this article and laugh your socks off: http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2015/10/jurgen-klopp-liverpool-manager-a-reaction/
  12. We're up all night for Shane long We're up all night for Shane long We're up all night for Shane long We're up all night to get lucky.
  13. Anyone remember the days of Chorley bullsh*t bingo? Anyone still have the bingo card?
  14. It's still a good pr exercise and a good idea to engage with the fans. It won't be as exciting as previous ones tbf but we are doing well at the moment.
  15. Has anyone received their tickets for this yet? I'm still waiting for mine.
  16. What over reaction? Stating he is quite embarrassing isn't an overreaction, it's a statement of fact.
  17. Perfectly acceptable to hold that view whilst praising saints in a number of other areas. Some won't have any criticism of any kind whilst we are winning though...
  18. Manufactured and pre-written passion...
  19. Precisely jackanory. You've summed it up...
  20. Sorry Tim but you're the main culprit- going on about your mum etc. You're wrong on this one as usual.
  21. You didn't but that was the basis of this discussion in the first place (that loads of people voted tory simply because of what they have read in the papers.) clearly the main reasons they lost are because their policies were rubbish and Ed was rubbish. Acting like it was because of brainwashing from the media does a disservice to the average British voter.
  22. Good I'm glad we agree. Let's not pretend that labour lost because the public were brainwashed by the media then.
