Nope. The silence infers there is stuff going on behind the scenes and once these things come to their conclusion we will hear what the outcome is and no doubt the club's response. The only inference concerning no one doing anything is in your own head.

We have absolutely no idea if anything has changed as yet and so why is a "statement overdue" as you put it? Does that mean that every week they have to release something to say that their stance has not changed? I would prefer the club not to be influenced by press speculation. Our players and manager are in demand and will be regardless of what the club say. If they want to go and they can't get assurances for the future then they will go and no amount of flowery statements will influence that decision. I want actions please and not any statements because I've heard it all before.
