Went to the game anyway and have to say I do worry about us if we play like this the rest of the season. Pelle is terrible, JWP kept giving it away, build up was incredibly slow and we barely troubled foster. We need a right winger fast and someone to inject a bit of urgency into our player. The longer we go without a win, the harder this season is going to be. Worrying performance.

You're simply taking his comments out of context.

There's a big difference between doing nothing and what Israel have done/ are doing.

It doesn't make it right, but it does make the Israeli response wildly disproportionate.

Come on now. I don't think whatever anyone says you can legitimately argue that Israel is defending itself. It's a hugely disproportionate response from Israel. I can see Israel's point to an extent, but let's not pretend that the actual reason for this isn't that they want to wipe Palestine from the map. Nothing to do with defence in reality.

Never. It's football at the end of the day. Disagreed with a builder where I work today about saints but we just had a bit of friendly banter then left. I expect that's the case for most people. Then again, I don't think I've ever met someone like Wes in real life so things may be different if that happened.

Not sure why that's important but since you asked, the universe versus Alex woods which was an easy read whilst on holiday. I recommend it. Just before that I read empire of blue water which is fantastic and everyone should read. I started reading the Hundred year old man who climbed out the window but I couldn't get into its silliness. Before that I had a keen interest in North Korea and read a few books including nothing to envy and escape from camp 17. It reads like a film script but is a sobering tale. Empire of blue water is the one to read though it's fascinating.

Your problem is you consider your opinion beyond reproach and you also assume that no one else with a contrary opinion forms their opinions from books and other sources combined with real world experience.

He probably read it in a book or someone said it in a lecture he attended.
