At what point would you walk out of a Saints game?
Highfield Saint replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
How did you get on Saturday then??? In the guide dog with 10 mins to go? -
Surely they come in pairs?

Always gave 100% for us. If only he had scored in the 83rd minute in Cardiff ...

Confirmed: Caulker loan cancelled; Moves on loan to Liverpool

If he can get his bag ready I can pick him up in about half an hour. Can someone text Klopp to let him know we are on our way. -
I might be wrong but I seem to recall it being said that there was a potential gap in quality in the academy between the last "generation" and the under 16's of the time. Isn't this what we are seeing now?

Juanmi will be a very good player for us as will Clasie and Soares.

Like your thinking but replace Martina and Caulker with Gazzaniga and Kelvin for me
-
Shearer for Dixon and Speedie?
-
More like 3-5-2? Yoshida - Fonte - VVD JWP - Davis - Clasie - Tadic - Bertrand Mane - Pelle

I'm very proud of mine. Spend ages on it over a course of a year

I walked next to a disturbance and a women giving someone who was clearly in distress CPR. There had been some handbags and this was followed by a few guys being confronted by a single fan saying why don't you pick on someone who will stand up for themselves. The old bill had someone who I assume was involved and the horses then came running down the road. Don't know who was who but hope the guy on the floor is OK. If that was your wife giving CPR then you should be proud. They all need to grow up. If they really want a fight then there are plenty who will oblige. No need to pick on the innocent.

Lesser had it right - we are a showcase club hoping to make an occasional transition to winning trophies and qualifying for EL or CL football. There isn't one of the "big six" that would have signed Mane when we did. His first games for us he looked almost comical at times but we had recognised his potential and over time he has delivered a massive improvement. The "big six" want players that are proven at a level not gambles where they have to invest time and resource. It seems that our model has us selling when there is between 1 - 2 years left on the contract so if someone wants the player earlier there will be compelling reasons and a price tag to match

We are beginning to see the squad settle and gel and the competition for places is more than it has been for a long time. Hopefully this is bringing more out of the players and knowing that there is a Jayrod (or Clasie, Long, Yoshida etc) on the bench is both a support and a motivation to maintain as high a performance standard as possible.

Hell hath no fury like a journalist scorned. The end of the love affair with "The Special One"? He sounds a lot like Cantona in his most unstable years. I wonder how many managers have been sacked after a loss to the Saints?

1 reassemble the current lost generation - bale, shaw, schneiderlin, walcott etc etc 2 enlarge the stadium 3 Like the museum idea 4 Reduce ticket proices 5 Win something - even if it meant buying Luis Suarez or similar

To the tune of "Galveston"... (clears throat) Clattenburg oh Clattenburg I can hear your whistle blowing I can see the game you're throwing I can feel your not really on our side Oh Markie Clattenburg

Between the U21's and the first team we have scored 13 goals. In less than a week.

Give it a rest you tedious pr 1 ck

No - but a good idea to begin a list of names. When we have that perhaps we could vote to see who we think would do the best job...

I do object to being a "subject" and all that infers rather than a citizen

Southampton v FC Midtjylland Build up thread.
Highfield Saint replied to Guan 2.0's topic in The Saints
Their disallowed goal is a copy of lukaku's first and the winjaldum goal vs Newcastle. Better get our left hand side a bit tighter.
