Boruc looked good, made some good saves, good distribution, good throw, dropped a couple but recovered all in all a decent keeper. Gazzaniga will take some shifting but IMO Davis is behind both. The thing that really gets up my nose is the criticism of players from people that one knows from their pronouncements, that the pinnacle of their football achievements was playing junior league, kicking a ball against a wall or computer games. Never in their wildest dreams did they ever achieve the fitness, speed or ability of the players that they are trying to attack. I think for example that SDR and Guly are really good players in many areas but have limitations in other areas but that in itself isn't a reason to try and undermine the player. The coaches should be helping these players to strengthen their weaknesses. If Schneiderlin had played the part DeRidder played in the three goals he would be hailed as a passing genius, because it was DeRidder, it is ignored.

There appears to be plenty of jobs, even apprenticeships are coming back. We have to clear out the competition and make a job better than no benefits. To that end we have to get out of the EU. Even parents presented with the problem of a workshy child will also apply the pressure. This is the must have everything now society, both my parents worked, rented a house, we had no car and no tv, The last Labour government destroyed pensions, jobs through stupidity (unlimited immigration), the economy through stupidity (ridiculous borrowing), unlimited welfare through stupidity. I will probably vote them in next time because I'm voting UKIP unless Mr Slippery is ousted or has to back an in/out referendum. In which case the Conservatives will get in by a landslide. Get out of Europe, get out of ECHR, restrict foreigner's jobs to work permits, then those that have no citizenship have no choice/money but leave. That should free up a few jobs. In my childhood, parents had the responsibility and most accepted it. Children having babies, with parents or shotgun and lived with parents anyway. No job, live with parents. The Man Utd commentators on last night's U21 game were really complimentary about us. Apart from the compliments about how well we played and how good the passing was, Paddy Crerand in particular pinpointed how we had played, Man City, Arsenal and Everton away and Utd at home and looked pretty good. He thought the start with w1 d1 l1 was not bad at all. In the last three games, 4 points was a decent return. We scored 7 and conceded 6 which shows a decent trend. Adkins deserves the season at least to manage us he deserves that.

So the useless DeRidder can't play. Goal1 De Ridder puts in Reeves free cross to far post, Goal2 DeRidder puts in Shaw free cross to far post, Goal3 all but over DeRidder out wide puts in a nice ball to Curtis (Chambers) for a shot in off the post from 20 yds. Reeves was excellent, Sinclair took his goals well, Curtis (Chambers) grew into the game, the passing was excellent but we looked vulnerable when Utd attacked at pace. DeRidder had a good game tonight and deserves a place on the bench, certainly better than Chaplow.

The Manager- has to think on his feet, we weren't compact enough and left openings which were along with a large slice of luck exploited. The managers problem was that he wanted to tighten things up but any player he brought on from the bench was a compromise. Both Guly and Chaplow tried hard and put in plenty of effort but neither did the job they were brought on to do, tighten it up across the midfield and close out the game. Who could have done that job? Certainly nobody on the bench. The two central midfielders were positive in the first half but conceded space in the second, neither were positive enough for me until we went behind and we pressed up the field and had Fulham hanging on. There has been a lot of unfair criticism of a few players on here. Hooiveld let one ball bounce which Rodellega couldn't get to, he shouldn't have let it bounce but I think he was looking for Gazzaniga to take it. He was done twice by the quicker Rodellega but none of these caused problems. Overall he had a solid game and did little wrong. The two deflections for the own goals, the first there was a Fulham player behind him that may/may not have got to the ball but he didn't know that and Richardson's close range shot just came at him. There is no way on this earth he had time to do anything but react, I defy anybody who has played the game to say they would have left either shot because everybody would have stuck a foot out. The Arsenal own goal was Davis letting the ball through him and hitting Hooiveld goalside on the line, he had no chance. My criticism for the first goal is nobody closed Riise down and the defence didn't come out and press but sat back. The second Lallana was wide but their runner got the drop on Fox and Lallana as they were holding a line and the cross was good. Lallana worked hard all afternoon and on many occasions supported Fox who had a good game and caused Fulham all sorts of problems with his dead ball delivery. Yoshida did his best and his unfamiliarity was evident. I think Gazzaniga is a cracking keeper and probably would have saved the second goal, it's great to have a goalkeeper catching the ball at last. Fonte had his best game to date apart from a couple of desperate sliced clearances. He's been much better since Davis dropped. Puncheon worked hard but we need more than just checking inside and back. Rodriguez looked much better in the middle whilst Lambert had four good chances, the far post header, the shot at the near post, the far post sidefoot and the lofted shot over from Schneiderlin's pass inexplicably he missed the target with three. I fear Ramirez may be out for a while, in the meantime the team set up looked quite good even if the execution sometimes less than ideal. Davis and Schneiderlin have to be more positive as I feel we lose opportunities to cut through defences by playing too safe at times. If the midfield don't deliver the ball, the front men will stop making the runs and we will end up dropping deep like the second half yesterday. I'd like to see Mayuka brought on or started for Puncheon, we could do with the extra pace/goal threat.

I'm 70, as well as books I use a kindle, I've read 57 e books since purchase and have another 68 in the Kindle to read. I use an iphone and link it to the Kindle site with an app as another Kindle. My car is full of computerised modes. Not bothered by MP3 but my wife uses iphone, MP3, laptop online etc. Age means nothing nowadays, I'm thinking of getting an ipad but I don't really need one. I suppose flying computerised aircraft from the eighties onwards helped, including the technical courses and simulator checks.

I contributed to the online programme last year, downloaded it once and thought it was an unimaginative load of rubbish with a list of squad numbers and names that mean nothing at the back. There was a day when the programmes gave the teams, that was the real reason for a programme. Now it is meaningless. It is easy to get the squad numbers on the official sites and pretty much see what the opponents team will be. In any event now we are in the Premier because of TV exposure opponents are mostly recognisable. I think I've only bought one programme in the last six years and that was for somebody who had a kids birthday/photo in it. I don't see many people with programmes nowadays, do others see many?

Often clients want alterations/design changes after the commencement without understanding the cost implications. Often micro managers go to meetings and issue instructions, the architect issues variations/drawings and the work is carried out but there is never an price agreed before commencement. Consequently when the cost escalates the client has a problem because they thought they could just change things not realising the ramifications ending in a dispute.

Put a bit of bite into midfield. I've always advocated round pegs in round holes. I'm happy with the goalkeeper. I've never taken much notice of Boruc but his 300 games for Celtic would probably include three quarters as a spectator due to the lack of real competition in Scotland. It is reported that he was good for Fiorentina and he would have had plenty to do there. If we drop Gazzaniga then Boruc has to be much better otherwise it is a wasted exercise and investing Premier experience in an already good young goalkeeper is IMO if he isn't, the better option. I think I prefer Fox, if fully fit in at left back with Fonte and Hooiveld at centreback. That gives us a settled back four. Yoshida was a midfielder at Grampus Nagoya and successfully converted to centreback. I would like to see him with Davis in CM with Lallana and Puncheon L/RM, Ramirez in front of the midfield and Lambert up front. Yoshida is strong and a good passer, he would give us the cover in front of the centrebacks and the full backs. I don't really care about systems or numbers as all they do if they don't suit the team is hamstring it. The way we played against Villa looked much more natural for the team, so I would like us to forget about trying to adapt the players to a numbers game and get them playing comfortably.
