  1. You gotta get in to get out (is that a lyric?). Did anybody rule him him? Good decision anyway.
  2. Interesting read. He's saying all the right things. Let's hope his trusted people appoint the right manager.
  3. Didn't know that. Well I never.
  4. I think Saints is a value buy, albeit high risk and high reward, although probably a reasonable level of risk for someone of ML's wealth, but I can't help thinking the acquisition is part of a wider business strategy. PR appears to have been important to the family company which donated to two local charities when supplying those cranes to the docks. All fine by me as long as the club flourishes.
  5. Anybody know any good Skate jokes?
  6. I think he's serious. Any chance of sharing a bit more with us non German speakers?
  7. I was walking to the station tonight when I saw a P****y season ticket nailed to a tree. I thought "I'll have that". Well you can never have too many nails can you?
  8. 20% not done....not a good sign.
  9. Have you forgotten the atmosphere at Fratton Park when they beat us? It's a difficult one but on balance I think it adds an edge to being a Saints fan and we'd be less without them around.
  10. Agree with your sentiments here but differ in that if he's determined to leave then allow him to do so but at the right price, with a generous sell on clause. If someone can teach him the concept of "team" he could do well in future. Wotte seems to be calling it right.
  11. We have a choice?

  14. And your sh*gged out mouse.
  15. The frequency with which potential buyers speak out seems to be in inverse proportion to the credibilty of their bids.
  16. Eight = ffs get on with it!
  17. I agree there is an overlap in the interests of club and creditors. However, it seems to me it depends on how any deal is structured. If I were a creditor, especially a small creditor, I'd probably want certainty and go for the deal that paid the most cash up front but I can see that the likes of Aviva might be interested in some deferred payments giving them a greater return overall than if they took all payment up front. It's also possible that some creditors could take their payment and never supply the club again (understandable) or the club could have felxibily to go with different suppliers in future.
  18. Relegation, Administration and -10 points.
  19. I'm glad you mentioned this one because I thought I'd dreamt it. I bunked off school as well. The Dell was suprisingly full for a Wednesday afternoon as I remember. Was it the miners strike or the 3 day week or whatever? It's all a bit hazy now. Do you remember the score?
  20. Upper Terrace Wembley Stadium, 83rd minute, 1 May 1976. Bobby Stokes RIP.
  21. So why was Fialka stuck in front of the cameras?
  22. Very funny Yorkie. With a sense of humour like that we should have a whip round so you can post more often.
  23. I'd appreciate a bit more of what you know please - genuine request.
  24. I think it's fairly clear. He's saying the issue for Pinnacle is the right of appeal.
