I listened to a radio commentary. It sounded like an abysmal performance. Up to tonight performances have been good and I've enjoyed the season. Tonight I'm disappointed but I expect to see an improved performance on Saturday and I'll be right behind the team and the manager as always.

I'm not one to criticise our support but it was quiet. I kid you not I was told by a women nearby that she would get a headache if I carried on shouting (at the ref). I mean, it's a football match, it's a ref, what did she expect.

A bit of artistic licence but also the club knew more then we did. There was a Solent interview with RK after the final match of last season in which he alluded to players leaving.

I knew this was coming if we didn't win. Nobody needs to wake up to Davis. His quality is obvious. His absence wasn't the reason we didn't play well and didn't win. Koeman could have put Cork in to replace Davis. He chose an extra forward to provide width to go round the inevitable banks of four. I'd have preferred Cork in for Davis and the fullbacks getting forward more. After all, it was they that got us the goal, whereas the wide players' crossing was poor.

He made a mistake. Big deal.

That's been the way to play against Saints for a few seasons now and sadly we still struggle with it.
