A couple of wins for the DFCSB's then - both dodgy. Mandaric obviously did a deal on the Carling Cup so his players laid down for the League game and of course Bristol City's goalie was always up for a bit of help for Plucky Pompey. Sadly they will be playing some proper sides again soon so the positive window of opportunity for a potential buyer is going to be firmly slammed shut again shortly.

I will be really unhappy if we lose this one. If we park the bus and try to nick a goal on the break we should be OK for a point at least. All helps to keep us out of the drop zone.

So who was it that hoofed the ball and gave it away before they came back up the field and won the penalty? Who are the hoofers in the side to which Adkins refers? Don't get much chance to watch the Saints over here - only seen them about 8 times in two years - lost every single one of them. So who are the hoofers this season? Who repeatedly bottles it when in possession?

Adkins needs a few more games to turn things around. Seems to be moving in the right direction but last night was a hiccup for sure. A few loan signings would be nice to replace some of the plodders we are currently lumbered with.

Agreed. We have a new squad this season - missing several of last years key players, and the team has not proved it is any good at this level yet. Our odds are ridiculously short.

I am first and foremost a Saints fan. And if there is someone underperforming in a Saints shirt I defend my right to call them out for it without being denounced as scum. Hammond is not performing or leading as a captain should at the moment imo. He can improve. And needs to. And he can stick his rallying call on the OS up his ass as well.
