Not signing Waigo or Antonio over the summer, or at the very least two or three similar players is at the root of this. Add in Adam Lallana's injury, Barnards suspension, the chronically chronic shooting of Jason Puncheon and the fact Rickie Lambert ate too many pies over the summer and there's your lack of goals and consequent relegation form. Not sure who to blame for all of this, but Cortese is in charge - maybe thats why he sacked Pardew. A top new manager, a few loan signings and a bit of confidence and the play offs are a realistic target again.

Not Adkins please - we need a manager with PL experience who this squad will swing in behind, and who won't get fired because it gets a bit more difficult in the Championship.

We need to get shot of him as soon as possible as the players have no respect for him, and won't play for him.

Well that's a credit in the Cortese goodwill bank for sure. Just need a sensible managerial appointment that is in line with the 5 year PL plan and managerial stability throughout that term and I'll be a lot happier.
