Add me to that list, bl**dy stupid time to do server maintenance -
I think it's pretty much 50/50 as to who wins and the bookies agree with most pricing both teams at 10/11. Extrabet interestingly go with Lancs as 2/1 favourites I don't think Prior or Pietersen will be available for the final and I would not pick KP anyway, the players yesterday did us proud and the team spirit was superb.

OMD- Pandora's Box. A sad song about one of the greatest silent film stars Louise Brooks who never came to terms with her fame. Not sure the song is particularly sad especially if you pay little attention to the words as it has a fairly upbeat tempo but her story was.

Going back yonks, Tom Jones- Green Green Grass of Home was pretty sad.

Indeed and Don McLean's Vincent which I thought would be high on the list just creeps in to the full list at 74. I'm not a great fan of Pink Floyd so can't really pass comment on Comfortably Numb and if I listen to it then it might make me cry !!

Well Alan Oliver was banned from St James Park back in March for a story in wrote about Joe Kinnear suffering a health setback. Ironically this came just after he received a lifetime achievement award for his coverage of Newcastle for 30 years. I doubt there is a great deal in this story but Oliver is an excellent writer and it's only a section of Newcastle fans that did not agree with many of his stories so they decided to rubbish him and it was even suggested he was a Sunderland fan ( which is absolute nonsense). I agree with thedelldays that many Newcastle fans are totally bonkers and I give no credibilty to their views at all !

I agree, his behaviour throughout this has been exemplary and he deserves a chance without any question. It's totally unfair to judge him on last season, I have to say that chopping and changing managers has not got us far in the past. Well in fact that's wrong, it's got us all the way down to League 1 ! I'd be looking at an experienced assistant, I'd like someone like Micky Adams with a Saints background though whether he would come here as an assistant if doubtful.

Indeed, the hind legs do generate the speed and power so there is a logic behind that but of course you need to know what you are looking for. I would not have a clue, the only factor which I know to look for is if a horse is sweating badly and/or acting up. I have of course seen horses sweating profusely even on a coolish day and still win but generally it's a negative. To be honest most of my bets are either very small which is why I look for decent prices or free bets ! Anyone who has few or no online accounts with bookies can easily make a few hundred pound if they know how to utilise the free bets properly. I always recommend these guys even though the person who runs the site is a Reading fan ! http://bet72.com/category/latest-free-bets/

Well I know a very successful horse racing "gambler" ( not really the right word as he was so good at assessing horses he made £50k+ a year). One of his key strategies was looking at horses in the parade ring though I don't think looking at their feet was high on his list of priorities! Anyway he used to give me decent priced tips, once had a run of 7 wins up to 12/1. So he was very good unlike me, sadly he no longer needs to earn a living from horse racing betting as he has written lots of books etc; He really was the best professional bettor I have ever come across.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

Never mind a free truck I'd prefer a free season ticket !

Phew, am I on TSW.Just as well after that post !!

Thanks, your apology is accepted ! Fair to say we are slightly off topic but I'm not sure anyone cares anymore !!! Though feel free to continue OT as I'm now curious as to how you did find a 16/1 winner, might be a great money making system lol
-
Lol, one thing I don't do is rate my punditry, I have the odd flash of inspiration but that is it ! And you can keep your cheesy grins thanks !! Even if it were 1/6 I provided one at 6/1 from 4 which equals a profit sunshine. So you are no good at maths either

If I were psychic all mine would win and I'd be rich and not having to rub shoulders with people on here as I would have bought Saints and barred most TSF posters from games, bunch of losers

A 6/1 winner which you did not back and that pure skill rather than in your own words: Originally Posted by nickh I forgot to take the tips. Someone asked me on FB for some tips for Great Leighs a while back which I duly provided, 3 good priced winners from 6. Like you they did not back any of them so indeed why bother lol :smt102

I know I'm just replying but wanted to quote your comment from here !!

Yes, I imagine you might get something over the counter but be careful as some people who are allergic to penicillin are also allergic to other closely related antibiotics, including cephalosporins, such as cephalexin, cefprozil, and cefuroxime. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about these antibiotics. This might be useful : http://www.webmd.com/allergies/tc/penicillin-allergy-topic-overview
