  2. Last years ****e performances folowed by unpalatable return of Lowe followed by a first team full of players that the casual fan won't even have heard of. The only way to get the casual fans is...winning on the pitch... and if that happens then the Lallana's and Surman's of this world will be sold... get used to a half empty ground chaps... It means that every season I can move my ST to a better spot in the ground...

  4. Lallana on the right is the only answer. Then you can either bring another attacking player into midfield (DMG or Skacel) or beef it up with Wotton or Euell, pushing Schneiderlin forward. Other options for the right... BWP - ****ing useless. I will be ****ed off if JP even tries this. Dyer - fast, brainless, pretty useless Thomson - Not ready IMO - Jury still out though DMG - Doesn't look comfortable out there White - Not yet.
  5. Someone said that England have some very talented players. I would say that we have some very famous players. There is a massive difference. Croatia have moretalented players and I've hardly heard of any of them.
  6. Thought Capello was going to weed out all the prima donna ****e but it's not looking good. he brought back Becham for ****s sake and that **** can't even run - he can take a corner and a free kick which i'm sure Gerrard could do just as well. He's 7 years past his ****ing best. Lamps has done **** all for England for about 3 years, Rooney about 5 years. ****e. I do agree with him leaving Owen at home - he aint fit, he's never fit. In answer to the thread - i desperately want England to win - i just know that they won't and give me SFC any day
  7. this is the main reason why we really need to get back in the Prem. If the big 4 want to buy your player you are ****ed every which way but at least you can fight off the rest.

  9. i think he'll be here for the long haul. The question is ... if we are near or in the relegation zone in March... will Rupert have the balls to stick with him or will the trigger finger come into it again ?
  10. I'm in the Kingsland. Trust me, Dyer was crap. he beat the guy once when he basically ran into him and got a lucky bounce back off his own shins. he's quick but he has no brain at all... always cutting inside into traffic and onto his weaker foot, never really making space for a pass to go to him. When he does kick it past the man and tries to out pace him, he gets shoved off the ball because he's too small. If by some chance, he finds himself in a crossing position - his crosses are ****. I honestly don;t see what there is left. Forgetting the handbags thing for a moment - i don't see why there was a big fuss about us losing him and I really can;t see why on earth we offered him a new contract.
  11. The biggest **** up today was the half time sub. White had to come off so fair play to him for that but IMO Wotton on with Lallana moving to the right was the obvious thing to do. Would have steadied the midfield and made the right side a lot better. Dyer was predictably complete s h i t e when he came on.
  12. -------------Davis --Cork---Killer-----Perry-----Surman -----Gillett---------Wotton Lallana------Schneiderlin-----Holmes --------------Pekhart or -------------Davis --Cork---Killer-----Perry-----Surman -----Gillett---------Schneiderlin McGoldrick------Lallana-----Holmes --------------Pekhart
  13. Mark Hughes.... you never saw the Dellhurst Park game then. Hughes was 36, playing out of position in midfield and he was the single biggest reason we won that day along with Chris Marsden. i don;t believe Hughes ever gave less than 100% in any game he ever played in
  14. Davis 9 - Our best player by a mile James 5 - Some good stuff but i don't honestly think he's ready for 1st team. he's hardly ever played right back before. Surman 6 - Thought he did ok. though he's the same age you can see he has more experience Svensson 5 - Poor to be honest. Bound to have a dip after the adrenaline rush of just being out on the pitch begins to go. Perry 7 - Excellent reading of the game Schneiderlin 6 - Started well and faded badly. Didn;t think he should have come off though Gillett 4 - Started well then after about 20 mins it all went to **** and he never recovered. lallana 6 - Pretty quiet all game apart from that 5 minute spell in the first half. White 2 - Got ball, fell over, Lost ball, fouled the guy. A game to forget. McGoldrick 6 - Not 100% convinced by him but he played well in flashes today. Holmes 6.5 - 8 for the first half, 5 for the 2nd. Dyer 1 - Waste of space. I have no idea why this guy is highly rated by some and why on earth we gave him a new contract. Wotton 5 - Tried his best but the midfield disappeared. John 5 - Won a few headers but no service really. Would like to see Cork in at right back for the next game, Wotton in midfield with lallana wide right and Pekhart up the middle.

I've never rated him really but he kept us in it today. A coupld of indecisive moments in the first half but he was our man of the match by a mile.
  16. If you look on the team photo, Gillett is next to Dyer and he is obviously the taller of the two. So how tall is Dyer ?
  17. Thought he got a raw deal here to be honest. To be a former International right back and get left out in favour of an out of position fat useless slow midfielder in Jermaine Wright. Jesus always gave 100% and was not the defensive liability he was made out to be. Having said al that, his injury record over the past year was diabolical and we were patying him a lot to do **** all so he really didn;t deserve to have his contract renewed. Good luck to the guy though. If you want to have a pop about him though - compare his attitude to the game and SFC to the attitude of our two resident handbag theives.
  18. £8 million versus £1.3 million. Anton-donkey-Bradley-Wright-Phillips-Famous-brother-Who-Is-a-Better-Player-syndrome Ferdinand. I see Ferdinand and Davies as being at a similar level. If Anton is worth £6.7 million more then I've got more than one hole in my ass. I find it crushingly sad that a club are willing to pay £8m for such an incredibly average player and it make you wonder how much we could have got for Davies had Sunderland been interested in him. No wonder football is ****ed.
  19. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.....
  20. Ian Harte lost all ability to run about 5 years ago. he's the slowest fullback you've ever seen, on a par with Jermaine Wright for pace. He would 'get by' in this league but that's all. Personally - wouldn;t want him anyway. McCarthy knows him well as his manager for Ireland and he obviously doesn't fancy him any more.
  21. John up front. Rudi on the left, Lallana on the right Gillett, Schneiderlin and Wotton in midfield Surman, Killer, perry and James at the back Flapper in goal (I guess) Thomas and Euell on the bench with Bart, McGoldrick and Holmes
  22. It's a horrible thing when you know that if your kid asks you who he/she should support... all you've got to recommend Saints by is that they're the local team. There is no other ****ing reason right now.... My son is 4 and I started going to The Dell when I was 6 so i figure I've got 2 years for Ssints to be half decent again.... the clock is ticking.... quickly.
  23. Can't we flog them that useless **** BWP. his dad is their record scorer after all...
  24. So if Reading bid £2m for Surman, we're going to turn it down are we Jan ?..... B O L L O C K S
  25. Syer and BWP are both ****, regardless of anything else. end of. Skacel and Euell could have been of some use yesterday
