I'm a ST holder still, have been since 1988 and along comes the Man Utd game. I ring up on Friday and get through, give the credit card details and it cuts me off. I get a call on Saturday and go through the whole process again, give the credit card, problem with the booking we'll ring you back. Saturday night they ring my dad (dunno why but it doesn;t really matter)... and he goes through the whole process again, gives his credit card details and gets the same as me, a problem with the order. He got a phone call this morning saying that the problem was that our seats have been sold to someone else. We got offered **** ones at the back of the Kingsland near a corner whereas our ST's are half way up on the half way line. SFC treats its season ticket holders like ****. Currently, we have ordered 3 times and still have no tickets. ******s.

The three main reasons we are not scoring enough goals.
L1Minus10 replied to derry's topic in The Saints
We haven't got a single striker who is capable of playing up front on his own. Attributes you need (in no particular order are) Ability to occupy two centre halves able to head it Able to hold it up decent first touch fairly quick be a goal threat all game be mobile to drag defenders about be a right pain in the ass to the defenders not get caught offside, not go out wide. The only player on the books who remotely ticks a majority of these is Saganowski and he's gone. None of the strikers we have can do many of the above and to be fair, there's not many who can. Drogba perhaps.... Les Ferdinand... Shearer. Formation to blame for me... failing to use what we have.... at present we are trying to cut something with a blunt instrument... if the point is blunt then it aint gonna happen. -
Saints Greatest XI - Nominations For Best RB.

Ivan Golac, Mick Mills, Steve Mills If Dodd had left us at 27 then he'd have been in there but he got too slow. had some good games at centre back but as a right back he was shot. -
B O L L O C K S !!!! I heard them play 'Chelsea Dagger' by the Fratellis today. they're playing at the Guildhall on tuesday so I'll see if Rupes is giving it the large one in the mosh pit.

Until Lowe explains the period between Strachan leaving (Feb 04) and him getting ousted (May 06) and who was to blame for what happened there (which resulted in our revenues approximately halving) then I cannot take any of his 'blame' statements seriously. Shut the **** up you tool. Also, I'd like to know what the other board members like Askham thought of Lowe's performance over that period of time.
-
He scored and played well for twenty minutes. For the rest of the game he was gash,
-
If never ceases to amaze me that Lowe can quite happily look back and blame the previous board and not expect people to look back further and look at his first tenure. We are where we are - shut the **** up about the past. The only thing the past is good for is learning from your mistakes which Lowe will never do as he will never acknowledge them.

Will ST holders be able to by extra tickets for Man Utd?
L1Minus10 replied to derry's topic in The Saints
Season Ticket holders SHOULD be allowed to buy extra tickets, certainly before it goes to General Sale and some would argue, before it goes to members as well. the only problem with this is how many ST holders would buy extras for Manc supporting friends. I've already had one Manc (genuine Manc, born and bred) ask if I could get him one.... I told him to **** off. -
--------------------Davis Cork---------Pearce------Perry------Skacel Lallana-----Schneiderlin---Wotton----Surman --------------Euell------McGoldrick 4-4-2, Round pegs round holes, balance everywhere, everyone knows what they're doing. Won't happen.

Yeah, and if Ronaldinho had played more than 10 minutes then you'd have lost

Saints Greatest XI - Nominations For Best CBs.

Jim Steele, Chris Nicholl, Dave Watson, Mark Wright, Claus, Monkou, Dean Richards, Killer, Calum Davenport... Dave watson and Mark Wright for me -
That's because he's shiit and sheff have had him for 2 months so they now know he's ****. We can't loan him out because then the prospective buyer will always see how shiit he is. it was a **** poor decision to offer him a new contract in the first place.
-
He sayd **** all for months and then this statement. The first paragraph about it all being the previous boards fault just killed it for me. I didn't bother reading the rest. Interesting read in the paper yesterday about Niall Quinn. he talked of how when Sunderland lost 15,000 ST holders, the club went on a charm offensive, built bridges and won the punters back... got promoted and they are where are. We have Lowe... it isn't going to happen. The man is poison and as CB Fry has said, will never look forward and will also never look back and admit his colossal part in the failure. The club will never move forward with him there. End of

why does this not surprise me:smt070

Cork but no chance of that happening. Too many other clubs would be interested if Chelsea decided to sell. May get Robertson if Sheff Utd want Dyer but having seen the little shiit up close for a few months, i doubt they'll want him.
-
Decent player. If fit and we fielded 2 out of Killer, Perry and him, we'd be fine...
-
..........Robertson Surman.....McG........Lallana .........Wotton...Schneiderlin Skacel...Killer....Perry....Cork ...............Davis No Lancashire, James, Gillett, Mills, Thomson, Gobern or BWP in the side on grounds that I want us to have a chance. This line up won't happen because it has 5 players over the age of 12.

The Henchoz basketball one at Anfield was the worst out of that lot. I was at that game... In the cup final v Arsenal that year he tipped one round the post and Arsenal didn't even get a corner...

----------James Richards-----Mancienne------Davies-------Bridge Walcott-----Lampard---------Barry--------Young ------------Agbonlahor------Crouch Defoe, Upson and Carrick - proven not good enough ? Why bother ?

Saints Greatest ever XI - Goalkeeper Nominations.
L1Minus10 replied to Edmonton Saint's topic in Golden Posts
1st Shilton... 2nd Niemi, 3rd Flowers -
Killer will play v Reading. Cork, Killer, Perry, Skacel. Gillett will be no better than James at RB. A midfielder playing in a position he's hardly ever played in.
-
Mancienne ... the one with the dreadlocks who cleared up everything today.... yep, just got called up by England... thought he looked good.
-
Davis 7 - no chance with either goal but made some good stops 2nd half. Still doesn't communicate enough. Cork 6 - Solid game I thought. Always tries to use the ball well. Lancashire 3 - Blessing that he got injured because he would have got sent off again. consistently jumped under the high ball. not good enough. Pearce 6 - Great goal and recovered well after dodgy start. Skacel 6 - Not much going forward but did his job effectively. Schneiderlin 7 - some great passing but needs a 'tackler' alongside him. Tired as game went on. Surman 4 - Not a central midfeidler, too powder puff in the tackle and generally not assertive enough. Euell 4 - Makes runs in to the right areas and with him in the side, the formation has a better chance of working. Sending off was not deserved. yellow at most. Lallana 7 - Worked his balls off. Lovely skills but needs a bit more end product. McGoldrick 6 - Some decent play in the air and on the ground but at 1-0 he was 1 on 1 twice and missed twice. Gobern 2 - Ridiculaous selection. out of his depth. Wright-Phillips 5 - Had a limited impact though very unluckty to hit the post. Not a winger. Perry 6 - Defence looked miles better as soon as he stepped on the park. Poortvliet 2 - Sort it out you clown. The selection of Gobern and the non-selection of Perry were absolutely astounding. If we'd lined up with Wotton in midfield and Surman on the left, with Perry in for Lancashire - that would have been a good line up. Gobern, like Thomson and White - isn't ready. Lancashire is a liability. He gets booked / sent off because he's not good enough so he's always diving in. If Perry is fit then he has to play and he's on the bench so he's fit. The unwritten rule seems to be that we can only pick 2 experienced players and today we had Euell and Skacel. Perry and Wooton in that team would have made it a lot tougher and more organized.
-
Unless we are in the top half by the end of January we will be relegated as the squad we have post-January will be a lot worse than the one we have now. Even if we sold Surman and Lallana for £4m the pair, I doubt any of that would be re-invested in the first team. Maybe 2 20 year old replacements on loan. Our only hope really is to get lucky with a few loans who perform like Defoe did at Bournemouth for example. Even if we got these players I have no faith in Jan P getting the most out of them. You can't build a young team for the future in the CCC - it's impossible when the best ones will be sold and replaced with inferior players every 6 months.
