  1. Top post. I was going to write this but I was going to put lots of ****s, ****s and ****s in it.
  2. Smith did more in 10 mins than Holmes has done since he signed.
  3. Davis 7 - Did all he could, some good catches and blocks, one ill-advised rush from the line James 5 - Some good tackles but just gets bullied too often. didn't have a clue where to play when Perry went off, more JP's fault than his. Molyneux 5 - Swung wildly between very good and very poor... have to remember it's his 2nd league game ever. Perry 7 - Solid match until sacrificed by tactical genius Saeijs 7 - Good game, solid, took no sh!t. Shame he'll be gone after we go down. Holmes 1 - Waste of space. Is rated by some and he does have some skil but a lack of pace kills him. Totally ineffective and played on wrong wing by tactical genius. Schneiderlin 2 - The definition of 'propaganda' footballer. Nice skill, some nice passing, contributes s0d all in the final analysis. Holding midfielder who can't tackle for sh!t. Wotton would be more effective. Surman 2 - See Schneiderlin. Wright-Philips 2 - Average in first half, pitiful in 2nd. Couldn't be bothered. Totally ineffective and played on wrong wing by tactical genius. 3 years we've had this useless fucq. McGoldrick 6 - Thought he tried his best given the appalling service from midfield. Saganowski 7 - Well taken goal and worked well to make the most of pitiful service. Smith 7 - I groaned when he came on but he did more in 15 minutes than Surman, Schneiderlin, Holmes and BWP managed between them. Played on wrong wing by tactical genius. Lallana 4 - The usual, looked pretty, delivered not a lot. Poortvliet 0.5 Wingers on the wrong wing. Wingers too far forward given that McGoldrick was playing right up front. This left the 'human shield' (PMSL) of Surman and Schneiderlin with too much to do and they didn;t even try. The substitution of Perry is the sort of thing you try when there is 10 mins to go and you're 2-0 down... not half an hour and 1-0 and it was ****ing obvious that the 3 at the back formation had never been practised from the look on the faces of the players. The radio explanation of 'getting Schneiderlin to play in front of the back 4' was just shiit as that's where he is supposed to play anyway FFS. The midfield was appalling from the 1st whistle and we had Gillett and Wotton on the bench who could have come on and at least made it competitive. Jan, you are the weakest link... now f*ck off.
  4. I've been saying this for months. He's ****ing clueless.... He'll be gone by Monday... that's wht Lowe does... fans call for Lowe Out and he sacks the manager to deflect attention.
  5. I wonder if he'll get a game. Plays same position as Robinho
  6. depends if we play 'as well' as we did v Forest
  7. I expect he'd seen Jordan Robertson play loads... like he said.... B O L L O C K S !!!!
  8. Bitterne Bowl, 1989ish with my mates, I was about to bowl when a rogue ball came bouncing across and hit me on the ankle. Much hilarity from the lane two away from me from Alan Shearer. His mate, who had bowled the offending ball come over and apologised, saying the ball had slipped out of his hand and he'd accidentally chucked it backwards. No worries Franny...
  9. Spot on. IMO he's not been playing because of appearance money in his contract which interestingly, was not published in the Echo. I see no other reason why JP wouldn't pick him, not because he's brilliant or anything but because he's obviously better than Gobern, Gillett etc. Also, Paterson has been picked up front when Euell would have been a better option... Maybe appearance money wasn't leaked to the Echo because it would show that JP had his hands tied to a degree when picking the side...
  10. I know that the current St.Mary's site kind of fell into SFC's lap. Coincidentally, I was working at British Gas at the time of the sale and as far as I know, St Mary's is built ont he site of the old Brittania Road depot. Stoneham had fallen through and it was all dead in the water. I always had the feeling that Lowe was happy to take the credit for St.mary's when in fact, all he really did was purchase a site that fell into his lap, got a mortgage and called in Barr's Construction. Call me a cynic but I reckon any reasonably competent man could have sorted that one out. I heard there was a lot of opposition to the retail schemes from the retailers in Eastleigh. Also, there were problems Eastleigh Council being a pain because the stadium wasn't to be inside Southampton. IMO, these objections are not the sort of stop a football stadium on their own. I don't what else caused it to be shelved.
  11. Worst.... Wigley, Gray, Merrington (harsh but he was complete cack)... oh hang on... Burley was sh!te Best.... Lawrie, WGS, Bally, Hoddle Nicholl did well for a while
  12. Good question. If he'd left then, the opinion of him would be much higher. He maybe should have realised that he couldn't take us any further and left and found someone who maybe could take us further. However, in his arrogance he thought he could take us further by selling our best player and ****ing off the best manager we've had for years.
  13. Are you taking the p!ss ? He was sh!t when he got here and he's got worse if anything.
  14. If we stay up and Lowe stays - JP will stay. If we go down and Lowe stays - JP might go. If Lowe goes, JP is toast. Anyone taking over will not be impressed enough to keep him.
  15. I reckon you're right... I'd rather McLaggon played instead of Smith and someone who can tackle ahead of Surman or Schneiderlin...
  16. If I was one of the players in question I would be suing the club/individual for breach of confidentiality. I'd be trying to get the rest of my contract paid up. The leak is either from Lowe's side (unbelievable but somehow believable) or it's from somewhere else being made to look like Lowe's work. Either way it is mind blowing. Remember the fuss when John Arne Riise's wages slip was printed in the paper... well that was nicked out of a bin (I think)... but for 7 or 8 players wages to be thrown out there.... I ****ing give up, I really do. As long as when we come out of admin, we still have a club, a ground to play in (owned or rented) and none of the ****ers that have brought us down are involved, I will be happy.
  17. ----------------Euell-------------Saganowski --Surman-------Skacel-----------Wotton----------Lallana Molyneux-------Seijs-------------Perry------------James -----------------------Davis then I woke up..... IMO, this team would have a shout of staying up...
  18. Starts and ends with the wingers for me. They offer nothing in an attacking sense or a defending sense. When we attack they invariably come inside and the play gets funnelled into the middle where we get bullied out of it or **** about with it and when we defend they don't cover the full back. If they stayed wide when we have the ball and track back when we lost it.... it's not ****ing rocket science is it!!!!!
  19. Smith is a waste of space, especialy when on the wrong wing. I'm not sure why people whined that we'd signed him permanently when in effect we only signed him until the end of the season. Not sure about Holmes... I think many rate him simply because he has had a couple of good-ish games, unlike most of our signings who have had none. I don't think he's much good to be honest but in the context of the squad at the moment, he's ok.
  20. Current team wouldn't come back up. With a new manager they'd have a better chance.
  21. I'd play him up front with Euell. No chance I guess.... I'm guessing he'll play up front with McGoaldrought behind him... with our two wingers neither attacking or defending as usual.
  22. you missed out "at all times the boys tried to make a goal, this is what they do and when they do this, they know how to win games" POORTVLIET OUT !
  23. If Saga doesn't play then Lowe/JP is saying that they are happy with the way things are and therefore saying that relegation is acceptable for the 'revolution'. Of course he should play but then of course, we should play with two forwards so I really would not be surprised if he doesn;t.
  24. Rudi has probably played his last game for us now due to speaking out which is a shame as he's a good player. He was hyped to **** based on 20 good games for Hearts - this was not his fault. He was signed for £1.75 million and given a good contract. Neither of these thing are his fault either. He played ok in his first season, nothing earth shattering but pretty well. Whisky George then started to **** him about, dropping him for no good reason and this season JP/Lowe have carried his on. He's a good footballer and he has a lot of ability - a damn site more than anyone else in the squad at present and more than a vast majority of them will ever have. He's been badly managed and for the past 2 years, we haven't got the best out of him. He was signed primarily due to the goal blitz at Hearts when he was playing 'in the hole' and guess what, we have never even tried him in that position. I do not blame him in the slightest for wanting to leave. Poortvliet Out Lowe Out Wilde Out
