This starting post is post of the year and te first decent thing worth reading on here for ages.

I like him... he's very open and honest and he's trying his hardest with the difficult job he's got. He also talks a lot of sense. Compare that to Poortvliet who spoke a load of ******** and Burley who talked a load of nothing and didn;t seem to give a shiite. However, I reckon a new owner will bin him.

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
L1Minus10 replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Stuart Ripley... 4 years deal for a man who couldn't walk, let alone run. Given the context of the finances though and the line being fed us at the time, Schneiderlin is right up there. -
I think McG has taken 5 pens this season and I think he's 3 out of 5 which is not good enough. What is for definite though is that all his penalties have been crap and it's been keepers going the wrong way that have given him the 3 succeses. none have been in the corner, none have been hit hard. In short, he's a crap penalty taker. Likewise Surman on free kicks... he can;t even ****ing kick a dead ball.

What conversations (if any) happened between Barclays and Lowe before the deadline for admin? You would have thought that Lowe would have sought assurances that the plug would not be pulled until the end of the season. Maybe Barclays said they would support the club as long as we didn't go over the overdraft limit. Either way it's the last a catalogue of incredible **** ups. I guess we'll never know.

We HAVE to fill the ground for Burnley
L1Minus10 replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
I agree with you 100%, hence I still have an ST and I'll be there. we have to look beyond the present (relegation), the immediate past (Lowe - Wilde - Poortvliet), the soon to be past (Wotte, half the players) and think of the future and hope there is one. -
Wotte never had a chance. He's not bad but he's not what we needed. It's unfair to totally write him off given what he inherited but he has to go.
-
Bart, easily good enough and I can judge him having actually seen him play.

Mikey-boy.... just ignore the ****ing twaat. It really isn't worth it.... the facts are simple, Pearson kept us up and united the fan base and the crowds went up. Lowe came in and destroyed the fan base and embarked on a mad experiment. We're going down... none of this is Lowe's fault though. As an aside, I for one, renewed my ST based on NP and Crouch being there and I would not have done if I'd known Lowe was coming back. What would the crowds have been had all the ST renewals been done knowing Lowe was coming back.
-
Well done Nigel - you are a top man, a football man who should really still be at SFC and would be if that complete ****ing moron hadn't come back.
-
If you believe the stats of points won per game - we'd be relegated already and fighting Charlton for last place if JP was still here.
-
How difficult can it be to arrange a price for the club in the CCC and a price in L1.
-
Dyer was and always will be a waste of space. Getting 500k and keeping the club alive and getting rid of him is fantastic. I see no down side.
-
Just have to look at the stats. he should never be given Man U games to referee

Why didn't Crouch save us from administration?
L1Minus10 replied to Nineteen Canteen's topic in The Saints
who gives a flying one? your lord and master has gone. why bother giving everyone an opportunity to call him names again -
He was the main reason we played so well today. I am amazed if anyone thinks otherwise. He won everything in the middle that was there to be won, he is the on-field captain of the side and they all look up to him, Also, bonus today was that all his deliveries into the box from free kicks were excellent and really in the right areas. yes, he is limited and can look cumbersome but he's exactly what we need right now. It's a team game and it takes all sorts...
-
Davis 8 - little to do, great save in the 93rd minute James 7 - looks more the part with every game. A must keep for next season whatever league we are in. Saeijs 9 - Has a lot of ability and played superbly today. Not content with just clearing it - he wants to play it on the ground. Perry 7 - Solid display keeping Kuqi quiet. Skacel 7 - It's a waste of his ability being at LB but he does it well Wotton 8 - won everything there was to be won, not so clever with the ball but we all know that anyway. He's the on field captain and we need him there. Lallana 8 - best game for 6 months, made direct runs and was always a threat to Palace Surman 6 - not up to the speed of the game, contributed little as a result. McGoldrick 6 - did **** all until the goal, but what a goal.... Wright-Phillips 7 - a decent display in parts but he has no brain (flick ons to no one) and no composure in front of goal. Euell 6 - Put himself about and got sod all off the ref. Unlucky to be subbed I thought. ------------- Saganowski 4 - didn't contribute much at all Schneiderlin 6 - did his job with some nice touches.

April 1976 -Pompey 0 Saints 1 (Channon '90) - I was 7. A month later we won the cup and I naturally thought we'd win a trophy every year. Hmmm

Yes please but it has to be done gradually and any wage bill has to be sustainable if said benefactor ****s off. For example, it's no good having 20 players on 20k a week each if you are in League 1.
-
All that's keeping them afloat is their Premiership status... watch this space...

My guess is that he doesn't want any potential new employer to totally blame him for Saints failings. It's as if he's getting his retaliation in first. I find it very sad that he's said virtually nothing all season and now he's done 5 interviews in 5 minutes. He just wants to blame everyone else as usual and that fact that no one who is left sorting out SFC, including Crouch and McMenemy are interested in the past, make him look even more sad and desperate. Sad and desperate, pathetic little man. If he was a poster on here, you'd have him on your 'ignore' list. I think it's the best way.

We missed Gillet! Need Schneiderlein at Watford
L1Minus10 replied to SaintNeil90's topic in The Saints
I remember it, he turned his back as someone went to shoot and it hit him on the back of the head
