  1. I'm born and bred in Hull and living in Sheffield but I've supported the Saints since the age of 7 because my dad is from Southampton and also a Saints fan and we have Saints supporting family in New Milton. It's good to see I'm not alone!
  2. Boothferry Park
  3. I would go into the Nottingham Forest dressing room in 1993 and drop something heavy on Mark Crossley's hand so he couldn't save Matt's penalty thus preserving his 100% penalty record.
  4. Yyeeeeeeeeeeeessssssss!!!!
  5. Always hoped one day he would come back and finish his career with us.
  6. I was there, first and only trip to OT, was 13 years old at the time. I remember when Phil bloody Neville scored the opening goal and thinking, "typical, had to be against us didn't it.", Fernandes scoring a belting equaliser and taking the **** out of the Manc fans for their lack of singing, indeed the only time they seemed to make any noise was when Forlan scored near the end in which they sung their only song of the game which was "You're not singing anymore." Still have the programme for that match and I've noticed that Man U fans seem to think the 6-3 defeat was also the game in which they changed their strip. The programme mentions this and opens with a really smug sentence which says something along the lines of "it is rare for a game to have a total of 9 goals and not be remembered by any of them." Smug, historically inaccurate plastic tossers.
  7. Nice! I was fearing it would be something completely different but I like it!
  8. Anyone who says no is a moron.
  9. It was 7-1 actually... what a crap season
  10. We can, but I don't think we will.
  11. Hahahaha Beattie!!!
  12. And off goes the telly for me.
  13. There's many many, but I want to say Leon Best. His woefully inept performance in the 2nd Play Off Leg against Derby, from his idiotic own goal, constantly being offside and his terrible penalty that we all knew was never going in. Then of course, as soon as he leaves and we play Coventry last season he spouts out with some bull**** along the lines of "Saints fans best not start crying when I score against them blahblahblah". *****.
  14. I'm 18 and have been a Saints fan for 11 years, so I've seen some great times such as The Great Escape 98/99, FA Cup Final 02/03, beating Pompey. However, I always envy the fans who saw them win the Cup in 76, I always think had we won it in 2003, at least in these dark times I can say, "well at least I've seen them win something".
