  1. Wow seeing all that written down makes you realise how much has happened over the last 7 years. Supporting the Saints is never easy but it's far from dull!
  2. No it didn't.
  3. Need a beer but no beer in the house, would rather wait till its over before drinking though.
  4. Yeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssss
  5. Tonight. I don't want the possibility of being in the top 2 all season and blowing it on the final day in my thoughts for the next 4 days. Plus I won't be there this Saturday but I was at the Boro game so I'd like to be over that disappointment as quick as possible.
  6. The outcome of that season probably worked out for the best but I'm still angry about it. I bought the dvd of that season a year or so ago for about 3 quid (you can still get them on play and amazon) and it's like watching another club. Should we go up this season I'll be able to watch the dvd again and just smile.

  8. I always liked "we won the cup, we won the cup, e i addio, we won the cup".
  9. Bloody Saints Player stream not working.
  10. Bloody hell, we're top of the league they're second from bottom, no money, hardly any players... and yet we still can't beat them. They deserved it though well done to them, we were really poor.
  11. I've had about 4 so far but can't really remember them. The one last night I can remember being able to hear Adkins shouting to the players and then him charging around celebrating because we'd scored.
  12. I wasn't particularly optimistic going into the game but at the same time wasn't expecting that scoreline. Knew it wasn't going to be our day when Sharp missed the penalty, with no Lambert to take the penalty I just thought whoever was going to take it wasn't going to score it. Having said that the team kept on playing, the fans kept on singing and we're still in the best position. Pushing back the KO with the players already knowing results probably didn't help either. Still, I'm pretty relaxed about it, which is probably the positive effect Adkins has on the club in that we don't panic when we lose. Bring on the skates!
  13. It's an uncomplicated and defining chant that builds up, rings around the ground nicely and probably gets on the nerves of other fans. Being top of the league won't last long so let's just enjoy it.
  14. If Rickie Lambert is late, time better slow down for Rickie Lambert. Rickie Lambert's tears can cure cancer. Too bad Rickie Lambert never cries. Ever. There are two types of people in this world, people who suck and Rickie Lambert. Death once had a near-Rickie Lambert experience.
  15. 21. Born and raised in Hull. Dad is from Southampton so he forced The Saints upon me at the age of 7. First Saints game was away to Barnsley 97/98, where we lost 4-3 and Le Tiss scored a brilliant free kick. Second game was the next season away to Charlton when we lost 5-0 and Jonah was sent off. Due to living up north my Dad and I are pretty much the only Saints fans we know so being at a Saints match and surrounded by fellow Saints is pretty special for us. We still have family down there so I have been to a number of home games but sadly never got to see a game at The Dell. Seen us many times away though, usually watching us lose so I'm convinced that when we're away we lose because I'm there! Best moments Getting to the FA Cup Final in 03 Being among 50,000 Saints fans at the JPT Final Right now. Seeing us at the top and having a smile on my face all the time.
  16. This is probably the most fun I've had supporting the Saints but full closure for me will be promotion and achieving what we couldn't in the 06/07 season, the one season I'm still really bitter over.
  17. Man City have got Worf lookalike Joleon Lescott and lesbian lookalike Samir Nasri.
  18. It's hardly a dilemma, Champions all the way. I want to see us lift that Championship trophy and finish 1st and win a division. Would you really sacrifice that in order to relegate a team who would be irrelevant to us the following season?
  19. I've dreamed about watching Saints matches but never playing for them. Usually before a big match I will have a dream of watching it like the Pompey match in December in which I dreamt we won 3-1.
  20. Damn, was looking forward to making the short trip from Hull to visit a mate in Leeds, see the match and stay the weekend.
  21. Last few minutes of the FA Cup Semi Final in 03. The entire 4-1 match in 2005. The game was over before a ball was kicked, I remember my disbelief when my dad actually bothered to pay £6 to watch the match on pay per view. Final match of the season in 05. Didn't even watch the game, couldn't bare it.
  22. Beating Bompey and knowing it was going to be our season. Muttering away in amazement at how well we were playing against Man Utd just before Chaplow smashed the ball home. Getting smashed in Sheffield on the night Saints beat Plymouth and singing Saints songs at 3 in the morning. First hearing the dirty skate bastards song at the Walsall game. Seeing Saints top a division for the first time ever. Going ape**** when Lambert scored against the skates.
  23. Guly was indeed appalling but it was also the decision to take Fox off. Had he been on the pitch the entire match he wouldn't have given the corner away.
