I'm afraid I'm going to have to lock this thread soon folks. It started off as a perfectly innocent question by the OP but as usual has descended into childish bickering and name-calling. Please all play by the rules and try and get on. This forum relies heavily on peace and harmony between all members- both full members and registered users. The last thing we want is an "us" and "them" situation arising.

I can't see the pictures, but I'm assuming its about the time the whole country froze in a real freak event. Yet just about 50 miles or so over the border people were starving in a horrendous drought in Chad at temperatures over 50C. The African climate is really bizarre sometimes.

Just out of interest is there much plot to the game? I've only recently bought my ps3 and haven't really ever played (well no more than 10 mins) of CoD before, but am tempted to get the new one to see what all the fuss is about. Will I understand whats going on if I just buy the latest one?

I've been thinking about this for a while now. There is no place in football for the offside rule these days. If we got rid of the rule I think we should become the first team to adopt the revolutionary tactic of sticking all 10 of our outfield players on the opposition goal line for the entire match ready to tap the ball in every time Kelvin hoofs it upfield.

If Pardew can work a medical miracle on Connolly then why not Ashton? I honestly believe Pardew can solve Ashton's ankle problems using power of the mind alone. While we're on the subject (and seeing as I can't start new threads) I've been thinking for a while now about another potential player we could try and snap up...Ron Davies. I would be willing to contribute to Pardews fare to America because I think he could probably make Big Ron better. Anyone not willing to pay Pardews fare is not a proper fan.

I heard about this tournament the other day. I think Kadeem Hardison is entering it as favourite from what I heard. I doubt he'll have to put much effort into it though considering his professional golfing credentials.

I think our squad would be capable of grabbing one of the Europa League spots in the Premiership.
