Where Boufal been lately?
-
I knew about 10 minutes ago that we would concede a goal like that today. Why is Mccarthy spending most of the game playing short passes outside of the box?!
-
Low tempo game in the heat, with no crowd and limited recent matches. Guaranteed to be 0-0. Or 4-4.

I personally think the BBC is brilliant. The fact that right-wingsters complain is too left wing, and left wingers complain its too right wing, suggests they actually strike an OK balance. It'll never be possible to convince everyone of this though (particularly knuckle dragging fucktards and racists) and opponents to 'fake news' (which does exist, but less so for the Beeb than many other outlets!). Its not perfect, but compared to the cost of a Sky TV subscription, for example, I think the value for money is incredible and I don't know anyone that doesn't use any BBC services. I like MOTD, other top sporting occasions (Olympics, Wimbledon, world Cup etc), good dramas (e.g Line of Duty, Luther etc), good documentaries (Attenborough/ Louis Theroux), the news and weather (ITV weather maps are terrible in comparison!), local radio. BBC iPlayer and their website are also good.

100 days without football. Its taken less than 10 minutes for Sky to mention the 9-0...

How do you watch free matches on Amazon? Do you need to create an account/log in, or will I simply be able to go to it on my TV without any issues? -
I've just stumbled across this footage of an old match between Sheffield United and Bury, which led me on a trail of related footage: But I haven't found anything that dates back anywhere near as far in relation to Saints. Anyone know if anything exists?

Two wrongs don't make a right. I doubt people calling it the Chinese virus are doing it as a show of solidarity for those of African origin.

Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with your sentiment that such markets are vile and zoonic diseases clearly can originate from them, your whole argument is discredited by the fact that video is not Wuhan. Its in Indonesia, thousands of miles away. About the same as claiming a market in London is similar to one of that in Libya, in terms of distance away. Such diseases don't necessarily originate purely from poor hygiene in the markets. Pathogens effectively jump from a host species (e.g. Bats) to a new host (eg humans) and evolve. The rate that this happens is exacerbated by things like wildlife trafficking, but also other wider human factors such as habitat destruction (which happens all around the world) or climate change (being driven largely by more developed countries) - these threats to the environment drive humans and animals closer together and increase the risk of diseases spreading. In terms of poverty. I think it's easy for people to forget, that despite the size of its economy, China is not a developed country. Far from it, and it still has huge amounts of poverty, especially in places away from the bigger, more well known cities. Unfortunately, people still need to eat. Yes, I'm sure governments around the world a keen to pin the blame for the outbreak on China (who no doubt hold some responsibility) but calling it the 'Chinese virus' benefits literally nobody (except those looking for cheap votes) and could easily lead to discrimination / unfair persecution against millions of people. One of my neighbours told me the other day that they had been verbally abused in the street (teenagers doing Chinese accents/pretending to cough etc in relation to coronavirus). My neighbour is of Asian origin but not even Chinese. Might seem like nothing, but this kind of behaviour has the potential to be toxic and I can guarantee is not an isolated incident. A simple action like calling the virus by its proper name is likely to help reduce such utterly retarded behaviour.

What if only 3 people got slightly ill, but 1 person otherwise healthy person slightly died?
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52484530 Nothing would make me happier than knowing the sole reason Liverpool didn't win the league was because their fans are clearly bell ends.

I read a great article about him in the Daily Mail.

See Nathan Redmond has filmed himself training in a park on Instagram. I'm assuming the person he is with probably isn't member of his household, but I could be wrong...

Surely 5 aside is less about speed and more about ball control. For me its: Niemi Vvd Lallana MLT Lambert On the bench - Shearer, Mane and Ali Dia* * Every 5 aside team has someone to make up the numbers (it's often me).

What if There is no Transfer Window This Year?

Snooker? -
I guarantee HS2 won't go. Many people are still working on it as "key workers".

That was some short lived glory!

Neimi off for Jones in 2003.

What was the starting XI? I feel like I remember this in the news, but didn't think it was Saints, rather Chelsea or Arsenal...?
-
Off the top of my head, I can think of the following: - Fastest top flight hat-trick (Mane v Villa) - Fastest Premier League (all time top flight?) goal - Long - Biggest home defeat - v Leicester. - All time youngest scorer of a hat-trick? - Shearer v Arsenal - ****test local rivals - Pompey. - Highest proportion of goals scored in a Premier League season by a single player (Beattie). What others are there?
-
Edit: Just realised this is actually 10 years ago tomorrow. Doh!
-
Good memories. Could you imagine how disappointing it would have been for the game to be cancelled. Wouldn't wish that on any fans...
-
I think that was the best day in the league as a Saints fan since our return to the Premier League. Even better than beating Sunderland 8-0. Everything just seemed to be good for us back then...

How the flying ****ing **** is that not a ****ing hand-****ing-ball?!

If you could have either player back at Southampton and back in their prime, which would you prefer? Obviously we all remember the "St Mary's gets Licka Paint" headline on the OS. Did Zoltan ever have any similar highlights in his short time here? I often wonder if either of these midfield dynamos would have flourished with us in the Premier League of they had stayed with us? I guess we will never know...
