  1. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJL9RvSsNxH/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Until now I have been willing to give Shrews the benefit of the doubt. Despite vigorous protocols, it is possible for Covid outbreaks to happen anywhere, such is the nature of the disease. However, the above photo is evidence that they seemingly have some players blatantly flouting the rules over Christmas which has no doubt contributed to the outbreak (assuming that the above is recent). For that I say fuxk 'em and give us a bye. Seems their fans aren't best pleased either. https://blueandamber.proboards.com/thread/101242/club-statement-positive-covid-tests?page=3
  2. They are making both the 4th and 5th round draw tonight. So all 5th round ties will include xxx vs yyy fixtures.
  3. Given that West Ham/Stockport haven't played yet, are we saying that we could have a 5th round draw this evening of something along the limes of: Saints or Shrewsbury or West Ham or Stockport V's Team xxx or Team yyy?
  4. Is Jake Hesketh injured or just unable to get into the Crawley matchday squad?
  5. Austin has re-signed for QPR. Gutted we have missed out on that. Could have been a great goal scoring back-up for Ings.
  6. Didn't this happen to Leyton Orient earlier in the season in the league Cup? Its much harder to rearrange multiple cup games than league games. If there are multiple postponements over the 3rd and 4th round, I can't see how the competition will be complete in time for the Euros...
  7. Fulham game v Burnley now postponed. There's going to be a big backlog of fixtures soon...
  8. Amazon. More of a full blown river though.
  9. It was a clear offside that the lino flagged...
  10. Its not nice to intentionally set out to hurt MLG's feelings on Christmas Day by saying Merry Christmas.
  11. The added pressure is unfair on them.
  12. Seems a bit over the top.
  13. Nestled impressively between Wycombe and Lincoln in the football pyramid. I also noticed that if other teams below them win their games in hand (admittedly a couple of teams would need to make up some big differences in goal difference) Pompey wouldn't even be in the play-off places. Instead, they could be below Accrington Stanley.
  14. Within 5 minutes of the Amazon coverage starting, both 'Arry and Roberto Martini have mentioned the 9-0...
  15. 7-0. 7 mins to go. Could the record be equalled...?
  16. I have no inside information, but this wouldn't surprise me. From his Instagram posts I've often got the impression that he thinks a lot of himself. Admittedly, I haven't seen many such posts in recent months, so maybe that is something that he has been told to work on. I think he is clearly talented , but needs to buckle down and get out of the mindset that he has "made it". I appreciate he is a slightly different build to most footballers too, but I suspect he could also work on his fitness a bit.
  17. He beat Saints.
  18. Nah, they've always been a number 2. (that was a poorly executed, yet factually accurate joke, about them being sh!t if you're wondering).
  19. If they are ever to lose 5 home games in a row, its likely to be just after they've lost 4. Good omens.
  20. With no away fans, and people not necessarily sitting in their "usual" seats, there is absolutely no difference between putting fans in the Chapel or Northam. My guess its partly to help ease congestion in/around the railway bridge after the game.
  21. This 'article' has looked in to which individuals make the most mistakes in the Premier League. Disappointed to see one of our big earners feature at no. 10 😔 https://www.bettingodds.com/news/study-paul-pogba-amongst-players-to-make-the-most-frequent-mistakes-in-the-premier-league
  22. Most ridiculous penalty decision I've seen since Rickie was fouled about a mile outside the penalty area v Brighton in the promotion season 😅
  23. Genuine question (I don't know enough about it), but is there really a genuine link with dementia? Or is it more players from bygone generations that used to head a much, much heavier ball than the lightweight versions used in todays game?
  24. Sorry, just realised this isn't the Pompey Takeover Saga. This is nothing to do with Trump.
  25. I see Papa Boupa Diop has died today. Very sad at such a young age - does feel that long ago that he was still playing.
