I'm not remotely interested in paying to hear a biased commentary. I'd much rather they "tell it like it is" - even if that's painful to listen to, and even if it gets them into trouble with people at the club. Biased media coverage is a big step on the road to mediocrity.

I struggle to recall a successful team without that kind of key component. And that leadership is exactly what pulls the best (and the character) out of those around him. How often have we won from behind this year? This is something that needs fixing before next year or else we might well see the same kind of weaknesses.

Why do you say that? I don't need to be there to see a number of bad results at places where the opposing talent was inferior but we really needed to roll up our sleeves.

Probably not a popular view but I think "character" is still a bit of a question mark with this team. It's easy to win when you're cantering but much harder to come from behind. This is a potentially season ending game for us, and we MUST win it. We'll see.

I'm wondering if this is more a tactic to put pressure on city council and/or the landowners around SMS because Cortese's not seeing the cooperation he wants to see. We know he plays hardball. I don't see the logic of it, given the expansion potential of - and around - SMS. And I certainly don't understand the rationale behind diving into exactly the same kind of sh*tpile we've just managed to escape from - throttling stadium debt. Even with Markus's money there still needs to be financial sense attached.

My worry is that NC is sitting halfway on AP - not ready to fire him but not willing to give him full support either, including a transfer budget for the positions that need strengthening. That would be a really dangerous situation in a window environment because it could see a disappointing first four months and little chance to address the weaknesses until January. If that's where NC's head is (hopefully not), it could make it very difficult for AP to succeed. And to you, ALWAYS_SFC, page turned.

It was me that he dubbed "Moose Boy" several years back. I had no idea what set him off then (although he clearly had some personal issues) and I have no idea what's behind this little unravelling. Given his strange track record on here, including his bizarre backtracking on this thread, I'm certainly not inclined to accept his 'explanation' for anything. I don't think he even knows himself. But it's hilarious to see him digging like a man possessed in an attempt to extricate himself from a kaka pile of his own creation - especially as one of his 'excuses' is that he thinks it started when he insulted people with ginger hair while he was attacking someone from New Jersey, and then a moose chimed in. That sums you up completely. You post obnoxious comments and then criticize people for having the nerve to take issue with you about them. Of course, you didn't actually think about their responses because you were too busy trying to justify the junk you posted in the first place. So, in your world you can "type opinions on a public forum, as a minor hobby" but they can't because they come from somewhere else? The ignorance, arrogance, hypocrisy and bigotry are there for all to see - well, everyone except you. And you still haven't explained the geographic parameters around your sad little prejudices. Good luck with that one. A less justified superiority complex would be hard to find. LOL.
