  1. Here's a girl who knows how to handle a massive weapon: Would
  2. Even worse, they failed to score a single goal from open play.
  3. Didn't I read somewhere that the whole scheme wouldn't be complete until about November?
  4. Against Italy...
  5. Against Italy.
  6. West Brom at home. Lose 0-1.
  7. I've been using a NEET HDMI 3-way switch for several years now, without any problem. Has three inputs - cable box, game console and Blu-Ray. Has a remote control, but works automatically anyway. Costs about £15-20. Check out Amazon.
  8. Why does Redknapp automatically assume Bridge would wish to sign for him, rather than someone like Nigel? Clearly angry over losing his cut of the deal. The man's so far up himself he can see the back of his own teeth.
  9. Is she in a pub? Should be quite at home down there then.
  10. Knew we shouldn't have applauded Michael Owen.
  11. I guess that's about the mid-to-late sixties? Power station's still there and the strip looks about right.
  12. ...and they wonder why he complained about the criticism from the fans and pulled out of the deal.
  13. Sorry, hands up. I was getting my R's mixed up. It's another story.
  14. There are other sites that claim this story is a smokescreen for the real story. After all, ACRB was a story that broke several months ago. If the other Story is to be believed, it Could conceivably (sic) Bring down the con-dem Joint government.
  15. It's the Turkish in him.
  16. Quite a few on that site. The B52's really good as well.
  17. Check out this thread: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?43978-DVD-ripping Also suggest you get an 'on the go' or OTG cable from Amazon, for a couple of quid. Then download an app called 'Nexus Media Importer', cost is in dollars, about £1.80 or so. This will enable you to plug in a USB memory stick and play your films, videos, photos or whatever. I'd suggest a 32GB stick for about £15 should be plenty.
  18. Gun-toter's forum. We're just nutjobs, some of those posters are seriously unbalanced and probably dangerous.
  19. I was actually referring to the lack of support for him from the England setup over the John Terry issue. Obviously Terry was not going to be dropped for footballing reasons, but Bridgey was hung out to dry. He was never the same afterwards and lost his appetite for football.
  20. Was it Ron Yeats of Liverpool? I also remember Ian Callaghan breaking Campbell Forsyth's leg - possibly same match. Can't be certain as the memories fade. Guess I'm just an old fogie then...
  21. That would be cracking idea for say the top ten clubs, one home game against England each.
  22. Some good points there. But they do raise a couple of obvious questions: One - if England managers pick 'units' from the top three or four clubs because they're used to a system, then why not play that system? When England plays, it's pedestrian and nothing like the PL football that they play week in, week out. Two - if the players aren't intelligent enough to be able to switch systems, then select more intelligent players. Frankly, I don't think Gerrard or, to a lesser extent, Lampard fit that category.
  23. Yes, you can buy books within the Kindle app. Another word on the screens though. If you want to read outdoors, by the pool on holiday or on the beach, then the basic kindle beats all the iPads and tablets hands down.
  24. Finally getting some sunshine in France.
  25. And Bridge to a certain extent.
