Assuming Lallana is out I would definately play Schneiderlin. He is the one who is likely to supply Saga and Euell with the sort of service they need to be effective.

SFC - Have we finally passed the lowest point ?
Andoverian replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
I think you are right bar the fact that Lowe is still around and I fear that he will come up with some nonsensical new plan at some stage which, as usual, will put us back in the ****e. There is no doubt that the fans are totally behind the players and the new management. That was obvious yesterday. Great atmosphere! Keep Rupert away!! -
I certainly wouldn't disagree. The most amazing thing is, not that Portleit has gone but that the architect of our demise is still around.
-
I thought Saga was great today. He ran his socks off and for the second match running was out on his feet when taken off near the end. A standing ovation and very well deserved. He is a credit to himself and the club. The man is really back on song.

Only one change for me the class of Schneiderlin for the honesty, hard work but limited passing ability of Gillett. Nothing against the lad but Morgan has the ability of splitting defences with his passing ability and class will out. MLT the very best example. The opposition will be more worried by Morgan than Simon IMHO.

James has improved out of all recognition in recent months and must now be one of the first pencilled in on the teamsheet. I didn't rate him early on but I'm delighted to have been proved wrong. Well done !!

Skacel, Saga and especially Euell were our best players today and inspired the team to one of it's best performances of the season. Where have they been most of the season? Out of the team thanks to that genius Lowe. We wouldn't be in this position if he hadn't consistently meddled with the football side of OUR club. The proof was out there on the pitch today. God how I despise that man!

Fisher Utd have allowed a girl who worked on the turnstile to manage the team against Eastleigh tonight as she raised 500 quid for the cash strapped club. Im very surprised Rupert hasn't come up with the idea. After all it might be an improvement on what has gone on this season

From what I hear around me the vast majority of ST holders have made up their mind. They will not renew while Lowe is at the helm. I have been a season ticket holder for most of the 55 years that I have supported our club but it pains me to say that I will not be renewing this time around. It is the only way that I can make my small protest against Lowe. If he goes I will renew within 24 hours!

Sorry Pal. This is the time to be mouthing off. There has not been enough " mouthing off" IMO. Can you imagine the fans of many other clubs putting up with the mismanagement and unadulterated crap that we have had to endure in recent years. The average Saints fan is a decent, honest, loyal supporter of his or her "family" football club. I go back a long way (over 55 years). This present situation was not caused by the fans but by the individuals that we inherited when this club became a PLC and there is one individual who is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to culpability. I'll leave you to guess who!

Absolutely right. It is all about keeping up the pressure and making life as uncomfortable as possible for Lowe and Wilde. However we want to make it clear that we totally support the team at all times win lose or draw. It's Lowe and Wilde that we have a problem with. The more that they see the fans in the media and in the City criticising their appalling regime the better. At the end of the day we want our club back. Good start on Saturday IMO and now we need to keep it up.

The news was published on page 16 of today's Racing Post and MLT has texted Ed with his best wishes.

Well done thanks very much. I have rung the club this morning. Hopefully they will join in the best wishes.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Ed Chamberlin the Sky Sports Presenter who is an ardent Saints fan. Ed has been diagnosed with cancer and has started on the road to recovery with a 9 week course of chemotherapy. It would be nice if we could send Ed e mails from members of the site. The problems of the club take a backseat when health rears it's ugly head. Can anyone help with any ideas of how we might find the necessary e mail address?

One thing this shows for once and all is that Crouch is the real fan and Lowe and Wilde are just after the main chance. We should get behind Crouch and give him our total support.

David Armstrong called for a boycott by the fans last night
Andoverian replied to derry's topic in The Saints
Don't enter the ground until after the kick off. That way the match would start in the presence of away supporters only and the point would be well picked up by the media. -
Well done Beetlesaint. We must ensure that it is printed by the Echo ! !
-
Pahars was a star! Most true Saints fans can have nothing but great memories of the guy. I would welcome him back in any capacity at any time. At his best he was sensational.
-
Total spin by the Lowe P.R.machine. Even if it is all true why do you think it has been leaked now. Lowe is feeling the heat and is looking to deflect the grief. If you fall for all this like the Echo have then you are naive. Come on Lowe we're not the total mugs that you think we are. We are suppose to believe that he is not only squeeky clean but also a shining white knight coming to the rescue. What a load of nonsense.

I couldn't agree more! I was around when the fans got rid of Branfoot by putting pressure on the board but in those days we all cared passionately about this club. Now I get the impression that the passion has been knocked out of the rank and file fan by Lowe and for the best part most people couldn't care less. I have supported this club for 55 years home and away but I have to say that my enthusiasm has waned to the point where I am rapidly losing interest. I know that when the time comes I will still renew my season ticket but this is not the club that I have supported all those years. The fault, in my opinion, lies solely at the door of Lowe who is the worst thing to have happened to my beloved club in over half a century. Sorry if you don't agree with me but talking to other highly committed fans I am not alone in my views.
-
The manager takes off Smith at half time against Reading after a very poor display and then low and behold we give him a permanent deal despite the fact that he is not wanted at ant price by a team in a division below us. Seems to me that Lowe has been meddling again. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the manager had absolutely no say in the matter. God help the "manager" and God help us ! !

Would you BOYCOTT? Ways to get rid of Lowe and the board
Andoverian replied to Wes Tender's topic in The Saints
I am totally in favour of a mass boycott but it must be very well publicised and very well organised. Preferably with a big demonstration either outside the ground or in the City Centre. Why not approach Lawrie Mac and Leon Crouch for their support. -
At least the skates got stuffed by West Ham

Why don't you worry about this club. I couldn't care less what happens down the road! -

Time for action. I agree we should start letting everybody know that the Doncaster game should be boycotted. We need a big publicity drive. Come on Saints Trust ( I'm a paid up member) you have to take a lead. I'm a season ticket holder but I would gladly give up my ticket for the rest of the year if I could get rid of the smug, arrogant PLC chairman who has brought this club to it's lowest ever point. Incidentally I have been attending games home and away for 55 years. I have never been so depressed!
