Matt is a legend end of, and will always be loved 99.9% of the fans. If it wasn't for Cortese we may not have a club to talk about. THey both need to realise what the other has done for SFC and drop this silly feud, all its doing is dividing the fanbase again. Boys, if you have someone reading this forum, go out, have a beer, be friends.
  2. I'd like to see them played together, not sure how it would fit in though.
  3. What he said. This will be our toughest game yet this season, a point would be a good solid result. Last time we went to Cardiff (admitedly at the old ground) I asked a copper the same question. He 'advised' me to to go straight into the ground and have a beer there. The ground isn't in the best part of Cardiff, and they don't like the English much at the best of times...
  4. Unlilely, most of the streets are double yellows/permit holder. You could try the industrial estate behind the Chapel end, you might get lucky, but considering the coach probably won't get back much before 1am it might be worth paying for the stadium car park, at least you'll have the peace of mind that your car should be safe.
  5. Thought he was a good player, just a bit too brave for his own good. Kept putting his head between the ball and the strikers boot.
  6. So whats the real story with Kitson? That answer was clearly made up on the spot.
  7. Surley by not bringing food into the ground, you would have to buy it there, thus giving those c*nts money?
  8. So how many ST holders will be willing to give their ticket up for an unkown, who clearly only wants to go for a ruck, thus risking losing theirST and their hard earned cash into the bargain? No fecking many I'll bet!
  9. And where exactly have I stated I want something for free? I would be more than happy to pay the postage costs, but what ****es me off is having to pay this again after already paying it when buying the tickets. On which planet does a stamp and envelope cost £3?
  10. Got my Cardiff tickets today. Inside there is a letter from Cardiff saying they have a limited number of FREE parking spaces available at the ground for families. These will be available through your own ticket office. So I phone up the TO, after much umming and ahhing the girl finally finds the parking vouchers, which are FREE, then tries to sting me for a £3 booking fee!
  11. The culture difference between the two games is unreal. Rugby refs never get questioned, or spoken back to. And as such they rarely make a mistake, and they have a lot more to watch than footbal refs. Contrast football, where every decision is pored over, and players regualarly get 'in the face' of the ref, and its no wonder they feel the pressure and make mistakes. Its time football got tough on players arguing. Maybe a third card should be added, when a player argues he is carded and sin binned for five minutes, a second card means a red. It might mean a few sendings off for the first couple of games but they will soon get the idea.

  13. Thought the program was a bit crap really, then again were the FA ever really going to allow someone to blow open the game? If footballers were put on the same testing regime as cyclists the game would collapse overnight.
  14. No need to be rude about it. I usually buy from the ticket office direct but I can't get up there this week and I want to get a family ticket before they go.
  15. Not very happy, can't book tickets online and TO won't waive the ticket tax for buying over the phone. Sometimes I wonder if this club actually wants supporters
  16. Ive never yet met a Manc I've liked. Then again, I was brought up in Liverpool so I may be a bit biased...
  17. Look at the overheads, then you'll see that your not really paying over the odds. Then compare that with Eastleigh and New Forest, who both charge more, but their cars can be any age, whereas Soton cabs all have to be under 7 years old.
  18. 14/15 year old boys? Groin injury? Are any of them experiencing eyesight problems?
  19. I'm a cab driver in town, I can't do private messages but if you want to email me I will be able to help you out. huffton7 @ gmail.com
  20. Is that Ian Holloway flicking the v's at him?
  21. Next week apparently. In case anyone wants a laugh at someone less fortunate than themselves. Question is, wil they muster enough fans to fill the seats?
  22. How many more times does this need to be corrected? On the day of the cut off point, the club was solvent. Of all the things Rupert did wrong putting the company into admin wasn't one of them. It wasn't until a few days later when Barclays pulled the overdraft that the club became insolvent and the administrators were called in. Of course this again cannot be compared to the DCFSBs as they had been trading insolvently for ages.
  23. Fixed it for you.
  24. How do you kow we've 'f*cked up 3 deals'? Maybe the players we were trying to sign decided to ask for ridiculous money on the back of the Chambo deal and Cortese, quite rightly, told them to feck off?
