I used to play rugby with a dwarf, he was both karate & judo black belts. Hard as nails, but always took size related banter very well.

Not. Both attacking midfielders.

I'm sure there's a joke there if you squint hard enough. -

It's Romsey. I thought something exciting had happened, as there were police & dog teams buzzing around by the Town Hall at 8am. What a disappopintment to find out it was only Bangwagon Dave bringing his roadshow to town. -
Rumour has it that Turkish may have done this

I predicted a 2-0 win for us against Charlton, but it didn't save. I should be 10 points & 13 places better off.

My God! To think they've probably bred by now & passed on their genes.

I thought BT was exonerated of all wrong doing, with Dodd being the chief protagonist.

Locations of franked mail mail boxes wanted
Dimond Geezer replied to tony13579's topic in Buy / Sell
There used to be one (I assume it's still there) in London Rd, there is one in the industrial estate opposite the Luzborough. I think post offices will take franked mail. Alternatively you can print a stamp from the Royal Mail website, which can be posted in ordinary mail boxes. -
My 14 year old read through it & asked if he could fill it in. When I said he couldn't he as he was under 18, he pointed out that no where did it give an age limit, the only stipulation was that the householder had to ensure it was done. The smart-arse was correct so I let him fill in his bit.

I believe they were delivered my Royal Mail, so 'postman' I would suspect.

My thoughts, unfunny, patronising, needlessly sarcastic, spiteful. I pity you. Maybe Dannysfc is dyslexic.

I find that surprising as I didn't think our shooting was as good as last season. We've scored 1.84 goals per match, which means we've scored from 24.8% of our shots, whether thats a good ratio I've no idea. Dunno where I'm going with this so I'm giving up - I've not had a coffee yet.

No contest gotta be Ted mk1 on 3 counts: 1. He was our own 2. He wasn't a kiddie fiddler 3. He wasn't made of plastic

Not a summer job, but between August & October the electoral roll is updated, this involves delivering leaflets, then reminders & finally going around & chasing up those that fail to respond. My Mum does this and makes around £450 for what ammounts to about a weeks work spread out over about 8 weeks. If your interested you will need to contact the Electoral Registration Dept at Soton CC, probably worth doing it soon-ish to get on this years list.

Simon Stainrod alway got Sh!t loads of abuse. I remember when we played QPR in a Milk Cup match at Loftus Rd, probably around '85, the whole Saints contingent were singing "Simon Stainrod, what a w@nker, what a w@nker" for much of the match. QPR had a corner at our end & someone threw an orange at him , which he took clean on the volley launching it back at us.

I think I enjoyed that Well done Forte, right place at the right time, but made 'em count. Well done Adam Lalanna, was particularly impressed with his chasing back & hasselling the MKD guy in front of the Kingsland late in the second half.

Newcastle 1-0 when Ruddock scored the penalty at the end. Dire match ending a run of god knows how many defeats. Ruddock nearly broke the net with the pen. Turned the season around and we managed to stay up.

There's no reason why your boss should find out, as you can opt to pay either through your tax coding (in which case your employer may ask a question or 2), or you can pay a lump sum (possibly in installments, I don'nt know) direct to HMRC. This option is given on your tax form. This is how I do mine, the guv'nor is completely unaware.

I enjoyed reading that. It's nice to find out what goes on behind the scenes. Good luck Carlisle.
