i think pardew will only be leaving if he gets us into the upper echelons of the champoinship, and by that time would prob only go to a decent prem club, so im not worried about him leaving any time soon. He wont be applying, and they won't be approaching imho

I take your point and that is dire. I havnt seen saints for ages, so I am just giving my viewpoint and how I feel the club as a whole has been sliding. The last game I saw was losing to rotherham in the cup at a totally empty don valley stadium. It was so bad my eyes started to bleed. There have been so many low points I'm glad that we now seem to have turned the corner. I had the faith that we would improve slowly this season as we were so bad in august. Roll on MK Dons

I totally agree with this opinion. It was an opportunity for a fresh start, we needed a complete overhaul of the sinking ship. Unfortunately this meant dropping down, but fortunately we have a successful businessman and a billionaire rescuing us. It was never gonna be a quick fix, but it will be fixed. Time and patience are essential still

doubt he would want to stick around and fight for a place as a fringe player, and with that expect him to go, would love him to stay and focus on doing a job, as he clearly has some talent, but just cant see it. I wish him well though

totally agree with stipulated shyt holes, but as someone who has lived in derbyshire for 17 yrs I can see that there are good and bad places in north and south (and even within counties themselves, just in different ways. I wouldnt consider Portsmouth to be a nice city any more than I would Barnsley or Stoke. I actually enjoy going to the utter carp stadiums sometimes. Should try to enjoy them whilst down there if you can as we wont be there for long!

the games I saw Gillett in last season I was never really impressed. I think including him in the first 11 now would not be a step forward. If he comes in and does a job then i'm happy to be proved wrong.
