  1. I believe (some of it based on assumptions rather than confirmation) that the contract position of the entire playing squad is 1 Kelvin Davis 2014 (following contract extension announced on 28 July 2011) 2 Frazer Richardson 2013 3 Dan Harding 2012 (following 1 year extension announced on 20 May 2011) 4 Morgan Schneiderlin 2014 (following 1 year extension announced on 20 August 2011) 6 Jose Fonte 2015 7 Rickie Lambert 2014 (following 2 year extension announced on 1 July 2011) 8 Jack Cork 2015 (signed 7 July 2011 on a 4 year deal) 9 Lee Barnard 2014 (following 2 year extension announced on 21 July 2011) 10 Guilherme Do Prado 2013 11 Billy Sharp 2015 12 Danny Butterfield 2013 (following recent 1 year extension) 13 Danny Fox 2015 (signed on 11 August 2011 on 4 year deal from Burnely for undisclosed fee) 14 Dean Hammond 2014 following 2 year extension announced on 22 September 2011 15 Radhi Jaidi 2012 (following 1 year extension announced on 17 May 2011) 16 Aaron Martin 2014 (following 2 year extension announced on 4 July 2011) 17 Jonathan Forte 2014 18 Richard Chaplow 2013 19 Tadanari Lee 2014 [signed 25 January 2012] 20 Adam Lallana 2015 21 Bartosz Bialkowski 2012 22 David Connolly 2012 (following 1 year contract extension announced on 24 May 2011) 23 Ryan Dickson 2013 24 Lee Holmes 2012 25 Dan Seaborne 2013 26 Jos Hooiveld 2015 (permanent deal completed December 2011) 27 Yago Falque 2012 [on loan from Spurs] 28 Ben Reeves 2013 29 Ryan Doble 2012 31 Tommy Forecast 2013 33 Steve de Ridder 2014 (signed 22 July 2011 on 3 year deal) 39 Harlee Dean 2012 42 Jason Puncheon 2013 Under 21s 36 Jack Dovey 2012 32 Jack Stephens 2014 Aarran Racine 2012 Andy Robinson 2012 Lloyd Isgrove 2012 40 Sam Hoskins 2012 Alberto Seidi 2012 Scholars 2nd year 2011-12 Steven Mowthorpe 2012 Conor O'Sullivan 2012 Daniel Bowman 2012 Matt Young 2012 35 Corby Moore 2012 Joe Curtis 2012 1st year 2011-12 Chris Johns* 2013 William Britt 2013 Fraser Colmer 2013 34 Luke Shaw* 2013 Jordan Turnbull* 2013 30 James Ward-Prowse* 2013 Calum Chambers* 2013 Harrison Reed* 2013 Omar Rowe 2013 Gregory Ariyibi 2013 Bevis Muagbi 2013 Sam McQueen 2013 Jamal Branker 2013 Jake Sinclair* 2013 Dominic Gape 2013 * on professional contract RELEASED OR SOLD Sold Joseph Mills signed by Reading on 22 August 2011 for undisclosed fee Alex Chamberlain signed by Arsenal on 8 August 2011 for undisclosed fee estimated between £12 to £15 million Loan expired Danny N’Guessan Dale Stephens Out of contract - released Jack Saville Oscar Gobern offered new deal but signed by Huddersfield, fee to be agreed, 1 July 2011 Callum McNish Anthony Pulis signed by Aldershot Ryan Tafazolli Tony Garrod Sam Argent Ben Martin Lloyd Foot Lee Nicholas Jordace Holder-Spooner
  2. when Saint Bobby's strike brought home the FA Cup. Let's hope we can mark the occasion and spark another big celebration (a day late) by winning at Plymouth tomorrow (though I hope we don't leave it as late as the 83rd minute!). I remember the game well - and the journey back down the motorway with Saints scarves over the bridges; the celebrations the next day in the city; and Mick Channon's testimonial on the Monday. Great times!
  3. If Jack Dovey, Lloyd Foot and Jordace Holder-Spooner are all being released I would assme that, since they have not been offered deals, Lee Nicholas and Ben Martin are too. They signed for the academy at the same time and are the same age. That would leave a youth squad of 19 for next season (plus anyone signed on over the summer), made up of some on pro contracts and some not Goalkeepers Chris Johns Steven Mowthorpe Defenders Jack Stephens Luke Shaw Jordan Turnball Daniel Bowman Conor O'Sullivan Matt Young Midfielders Andy Robinson James Ward-Prowse Calum Chambers Harrison Reed Joe Curtis Corby Moore Omar Rowe Wingers Lloyd Isgrove Forwards Sam Hoskins Alberto Seidi Jake Sinclair
  4. Just found a list I put together last summer from a similar discussion on this Board (i.e. all totally unofficial) - and also incomplete. I've updated some of the changes since then (Guly, Lallana, Chaplow for example). 1 Kelvin Davis 2012 2 Frazer Richardson 2013 3 Dan Harding 2011 4 Morgan Schneiderlin 2013 5 Ryan Dickson 2013 6 Jose Fonte 2013 7 Rickie Lambert 2012 8 Jonathan Forte 2014 9 Lee Barnard 2012 10 Jason Puncheon 2013 11 Guilherme do Prado 2013 12 Danny Butterfield 2011 13 14 Dean Hammond 2012 15 Radhi Jaidi 2011 16 17 Aaron Martin 2011 18 Joseph Mills 2012 19 Dan Seaborne 2013 20 Adam Lallana 2015 21 Lee Holmes 2011 22 David Connolly 2011 23 Tommy Forecast 2013 24 Bartosz Bialkowski 2012 25 James Ward-Prowse 2013 26 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 2013 27 Oscar Gobern 2011 28 Callum McNish 2011 29 Ryan Doble 2012 30 Richard Chaplow 2013 31 Harlee Dean 2012 32 Danny N’Guessan (loan) 2011 33 34 35 36 Anthony Pulis 2011 37 Jack Saville 2012 38 Ben Reeves 2011 39 Ryan Tafazolli ? 40 Tony Garrod ? Andy Crosby 2013 Aarran Racine ? Sam Argent 2011
  5. And according to the squad listing on the Sky red button service (Sky Sports 1, HD 1 etc) he's been given the number 25 shirt.
  6. Jack Boyle came on as sub to replace Guly - but was one of the 13 released at the end of last season. Anyone know what's happening there?
  7. Thanks - anyone know about Ben Reeves? EDIT: Accordoing to the ever reliable Wikipedia (!), Reeves was 38 and Tafazolli 39 (and Bart 24)
  8. Given that we were wearing the new squad numbers against Reading today, does anyone know what numbers Bart, Reeves and Tafazolli were wearing? They weren't in the OS list released on Thursday.
  9. A few of the numbers have been added to the player profiles on the "Home" tab of OS. The ones in bold appear to be confirmed: 1 Kelvin Davis 2 Frazer Richardson 3 Dan Harding 4 Morgan Schneiderlin 5 Ryan Dickson 6 Jose Fonte 7 Rickie Lambert 8 9 Lee Barnard 10 Jason Puncheon 11 12 Danny Butterfield 13 14 Dean Hammond 15 Radhi Jaidi 16 Paul Wotton 17 Aaron Martin 18 Joseph Mills 19 Dan Seaborne 20 Adam Lallana 21 Lee Holmes 22 David Connolly 23 Tommy Forecast 24 Bartosz Białkowski 25 26 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 27 Oscar Gobern 28 Callum McNish 29 Ryan Doble 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 Anthony Pulis 37 Jack Saville 38 Ben Reeves 39 Ryan Tafazolli 40 Tony Garrod Pros Not allocated Sam Argent Aarran Racine
  10. In the matches in Switzerland I think they were starting 1 to 11 with no names on the shirts (so Lambert wouldn't have worn 7 if he didn't start). It's the training tops that tell us their likely number for the season.
  11. His number for Tunisia. So much for tidying up the numbers! Perhaps Dickson has 5
  12. To fill in more of the gaps at post 22, has anyone spotted what number Dickson or McNish were wearing?
  13. Mind you so is Garyn Preen and according to this link http://http://www.faw.org.uk/news/1708 he's been released
  14. So it looks like 1 Kelvin Davis 2 Frazer Richardson 3 Dan Harding 4 Morgan Schneiderlin 5 6 Jose Fonte 7 Rickie Lambert 8 9 Lee Barnard 10 Jason Puncheon 11 12 13 14 Dean Hammond 15 Radhi Jaidi 16 Paul Wotton 17 Aaron Martin 18 Joseph Mills 19 Dan Seaborne 20 Adam Lallana 21 Lee Holmes 22 David Connolly 23 Tommy Forecast 24 25 26 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 27 Oscar Gobern Rest of pro squad - numbers unknown: Ryan Dickson Danny Butterfield Callum McNish Ryan Doble Bartosz Białkowski (contract expired) Anthony Pulis Sam Argent Ben Reeves Aarran Racine Ryan Tafazolli Tony Garrod Jordace Holder-Spooner Jack Saville (having a trial at Aldershot)
  15. Pernecky was taken out of the squad list on the OS last week suggesting he may have been released - I think his contract was up. But I've not seen anything official (or unofficial for that matter)
  16. Original post needs updating 28. Bartosz Bialkowski - considering new contract offer 31. Ryan Doble - offered new contract 32. Andrei Pernecky - think he may have been released as his profile was removed from OS yesterday 38. It David not Davis Connolly and he has now extended contract by one year Ben Reeves is 44 not 42 Add Frazer Richardson
  17. They landed on the moon in the middle of the night UK time....
  18. I've gone for the less colourful but more complete approach! There are several (admittedly generally fringe) players missing from the OP. For example, in the 2008/09 Squad: 30 Jack Boyle 32 Andrej Pernecky 34 Jamie White 36 Michael Byrne 38 Jack Saville 44 Ben Reeves 45 Callum McNish Most of the new academy payers for 09-10 are not shown In the confirmed outs, the following are missing: Michael Byrne Kyle Davies 2009/10 Squad So Far - the following are not listed 30 Jack Boyle 31 Ryan Doble 32 Andrej Pernecky 33 Jack Saville
  19. Updated ins and outs/squad list in light of new signings and release of squad numbers Still contracted (contract expiring date in brackets) 1 Kelvin Davis (2012). 20. The squad list in the opening post still has some players missing. Here is the list I added to the previous post which I think is complete and up to date. 21. Indeed - his record as manager of Wycombe Wanderers Adams became in November 2003. They were relegated that season. Although the club were top of the table in August 2004, a loss of form saw them fall down the table (not untypical of Wycombe!). He resigned in November 2004, citing personal reasons. Games 53 Won 12 Drew 21 Lost 20 Win % 22.64 I'd be amazed if if he were even under consideration because: - his lower league record is poor - I've got WW fans as friends as they considered him to be tactically inept - the Skate connection - his record at the Skates - his complete lack of charisma and ability of motivate - the judgment of the new owner to date has been sound.
  22. From OS 22 players to be involved; different 11 in each half SAINTS SQUAD: (from) Bartosz Bialkowski, Tommy Forecast, Sam Argent, Lloyd James, Paul Wotton, Wayne Thomas, Jack Saville, Olly Lancashire, Ben Reeves, Chris Perry, Jack Boyle, Ryan Doble, Tom Dunford, Simon Gillett, Oscar Gobern, Lee Holmes, Anthony Pulis, Jake Thomson, Callum McNish, Matthew Paterson, Grzegorz Rasiak, Jamie White Interesting to see who's not there: Poke, Lallana, Schneiderlin (international duty), Saganowski, Mills (injured), McLaggon (injured), Molyneux (on trial with Dutch club)
  23. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4469856.Experience_thin_on_the_ground_again_for_Saints/ It's 21 players with first team experience. So it excludes Pulis, Boyle, McNish, Reeves, Saville
  24. If they include academy players with squad numbers we have more than 21 players - so I don't think the Echo are right. Does it provide a list?
  25. Don't we normally play a different 11 in the 2nd half to the 1st half in the first pre-season match? Even if not, that's a challenge I couldn't resist! White, Mills and McLaggon are injured, Schneiderlin is on international duty and Molyneux has gone Dutch, so how about: 1st half ----------------------Bialkowski----------------------- James--------Perry---------Lancashire----------Gobern Thomson--------Wotton-------Gillett----------Holmes -----------Lallana---------------Rasiak-------------- 2nd half -----------------------Forecast------------------------- Argent---------Thomas---------Saville---------Reeves Boyle----------Pulis-----------McNish---------Dunford ---------Saganowski------------Paterson--------------- Michael Poke, Aarran Racine, Ryan Doble and to cover other injuries.
