Pulis [ not a fan of the man, but to keep Palace up is a magnificent effort] Martinez and Rodgers.

No pace, no plan b, having said that we had enough chances to have put the game to bed by half time.. 2nd half was as bad as I have seen in a long while, oh well 3 points at Villa next week.
-
Good luck with your recovery Jay, the important thing is that you are not rushed back to soon. We will miss you for the rest of the season.

20 for me.

All sounds really good to me. I am especially pleased that KL is in it for the long haul and the great affection that ML had for the club, will never, ever be forgotten by are fan base.

Very, very pleased, nice to see us win ugly for a change. -
Should have gone in 2-1 up, but were beaten in the end, by a far more clinical side. Thought Adam at times was unplayable, just a shame that Suarez was even more so.
-
Superb for us. Just very, very sad.

How do we fail to get so many chances off target? Why also do we struggle against sides who play so little football, two weeks in a row now.
-
We had our best chance in years to make at least the semi final of the cup and the management totally did not realize the importance to the fans. I am big fan of MP, but he definately got this one wrong.

The club is no longer run FOR the fans...............

Words of wisdom yet again Dave [ Derry]. Like yourself Dave, I cannot understand why the mods allow the moronic few to spew out their vitriol in virtually every thing they post. You and I both know Duncan and despite some of his opinions, know him to be a thoroughly decent guy, a shame the moronic element on here, pass judgement when they do not even know the man. -
Happy birthday Rickie, you are a top guy, who has been absolutely fantastic for this football club.

Going out of both cups to the same very limited footballing side is infuriating. Not happy with the team selection or performance. Very, very unhappy.

Going out of both cups to Sunderland is very hard top take. Not happy at all,I thought we wanted to win this competition.

Great result and sounded like a very good performance. If only we would start putting some of our clear cut chances away. -
Disappointing, but we always struggle to play well against Stoke. The conditions were lousy and probably did not help us.a negative is definately the shots on target, from the shots on goal.
-
Been ill all week, otherwise would have been at game. I hope that I am wrong, but the way we are defending, has the hallmark of an Aston Villa type result.
-
I hope that in time, Sam can some how draw on this shattering time [ for his family] , have a wonderful career and be able to dedicate his career to his father. Just very, very sad times for the young man,I wish him all the best. I think the club will be great over this as will all his team mates and work colleagues.

Magnificent performance, shame we did not get the win we deserved. I was very impressed with Sam Gallagher.
-
Surely we have to sell Osvaldo now,he got involved at Newcastle and now this, he has become a total liability. These incidents over ride his ability, which we have seen in far too little flashes any way.

Personally.,I am liking what K.L is saying very much indeed. NC for all his good work did polarise our clubs fantastic supporters. Let us all get behind the new team, being put in place, off the pitch and enjoy the next part of this fantastic journey. K.L, seems to have inherited her fathers decentness and fairness, perhaps, we can all support our owner, to the best of our abilities.

If that had been a boxing match it would have been stopped at half time. In the second half even playing at a slower tempo, we had chances to put the game to bed. I thought that Boruc should have done better with both goals and that Jack Cork was far and away the best player on the pitch. The player who is really disappointing though is Rickie Lambert, I am a very big fan of his, but I thought that today he was poor and ineffective, like he has been in most games, since his England debut. As for the result absolutely gutted, their first goal straight after our second, really knocked us back more than it should have done, considering how well we were playing at the time. -

We needed to take our chances when we were on top for 20 minute spell in first half. In the second half, Chelsea replaced 45-50 million worth of talent, with 55-60 million pounds worth of talent and ran out comfortable winners. No disgrace whatsoever to lose, especially if you recall 3 years ago to the day, we beat Dagenham and Redbridge 3-1 in league 1. -

Watched 1st half on line, a bad mistake from Jos, he and Gazzaniga are not helping the confidence of our other defenders. A good point though. -

No width and too predictable and the 2 home games against woeful opposition, have been very hard to watch.
